My status was flying on Facebook and Instagram. I looked at myself I looked at my blue glasses wondering why anyone would want to date me. I thought as I was eating my breakfast "Hey mum, can I get contacts?" I asked her she looked at me puzzle "Why Brooklyn?" She asked confused "Because I want to see myself without my glasses." I mumbled biting my lip. She looked nervous "I guess." She said calmly just then my annoying and popular brother launched at me "What the-?" I said but he gave me a huge hug "What was that for?" I asked pushing him away. "Your getting popular!" He exclaimed excitement flaring in his eyes. He had green eyes and flaming red hair that in the front stood up also he was very popular in my high school. "How am I getting popular?" I asked confused "Because, I heard that the Jocks sat at your table." He said lifting a eyebrow "So?" I asked like it was no big deal "Brookie," he said I felt instantly annoyed he always used that nickname because it annoyed me. "Did, they anything about me?" He blurted out his eyes wide with excitement "No." I replied calm. "Damn, they should." He growled just then he smiled "I heard that Sean Lance has a crush on you." He confessed looking at me "Oh really?" I asked "Yea also do you know a guy named Austin?" He asked I felt heat spreading to my cheeks "Yea he is in my Math class." I confessed blushing "Oh ok." He said looking at the floor awkwardly "Here Brooklyn if this is what you really want?" My mother said handing me a case with contacts in it "Thanks mum!" I called as I put them on I took my glasses off and gasped by the girl in the mirror.

Hot that was one word my brother came barging in asking where his toothpaste went and his jaw formed a perfect o. "Wow, you look wow." He sputtered "Thanks!" I said flashing my perfect teeth at him. "I'm using your car mum!" I growled as I went outside and felt the blast of cold on my face.
I drove and my jam went on it was Blank space by Taylor swift. Lights flashed to green and red as I neared the high school. "Thanks for the ride sis." A familiar voice spoke quietly in the back seat "Huh What? Luke!" I yowled as I saw flaming hair in the backseat "Thanks!" He muttered as he jumped out of the car and waved at two guys as he left me in the car. I walked out to see Sean his mouth gaped "Woah you look-" he started I cut him off and did something crazy. I kissed him. He looked at me in surprise but then moved in sync with my lips. I bit back a moan as I allowed his tongue to explore my mouth. I pulled apart panting "What was that for?" He asked confused "I don't know I just sorta er have a feeling for you." I muttered I gave him a wink when all of a sudden I slammed into something hard "Sorry I'm such a klut-" I began then stopped and gasped

There right in front of me was Austin and he was not looking at me he bit his lip. "Hello, Austin." I giggled "Well, hello Hayes!" He exclaimed smiling my heart skipped a beat when he leaned forward. I took a step away from him. I swore I saw hurt in his eyes but it was flashed with anger quickly. "Fine," he murmured leaving me alone with everyone watching. Oh. My. God. He. Almost. Kissed. Me. I thought looking at where Sean was talking to a girl and pointing to me. I rolled my eyes and ran to my locker. "Hayes I warned you..." I heard her snotty voice as I turned around there she was her pink lip gloss and blonde hair while stood her fake friends beside her. "What do you want?" I snapped angrily "Oh, Brooklyn you know what I want already." She said sweetly. She batted her eyelashes at me acting as if she was innocent. "No I don't." I growled my heart beating faster as she took a step towards me with a fake plastered smile on her lips. "I simply want my boyfriend back." She said as sweet as Skittles. "Well, I didn't take him," I hissed fighting back a urge to push her and step on her. "He came to me." I said smirking "I don't think so." She coughed "Oh, really at least I don't chase after boys like you I make them come to me!" I spat she looked shocked I would say such a thing. Before she could say anything a group of jocks came bursting in they, had there jerseys on. In the lead was Austin, Logan, Sean and my brother Luke. "Luke you ready for tonight?" Jessica asked smiling. "Of course babe." He said my eyes widened "Why are you toying with my brother?" I growled my hands balled into a fist. "Because I can!" She said and sashayed away to the group of jocks. I felt anger rising as I saw her flirt with Luke. I looked at Austin surprised when he didn't do anything about this I watched silently as he left I couldn't help the urge as I went up to him stopping him from going "Hey, what's going on with you and Jessica?" I asked "Oh, hi Brooklyn, Jessica just broke up with me." His voice was filled with hurt and his expression was pained. Excitement filled inside me Yes I could finally date him the voice inside my head screeched. "Oh I'm sorry." I lied he looked at me cocking his head "I'm surprise she would even go with your brother, I mean I heard he is dirty and all." He said awkwardly kicking his foot around. I remember when I saw a box of condoms under his bed when I cleaned his room. "Yea same here." I said I walked away from his even though my heart was pounding and I swear I was blushing like crazy.
