No one said a word and my heart skipped a beat. The heart meter stopped beeping and I felt a hot tear drop slide down my cheek. "B-Brook? I'm sorry." Jessica whispered her eyes filled with sorrow and grief. "Get out." I whispered feeling another tear rolling down my cheek. "Get out!" I yelled that caused Jessica and the doctor to get out quickly i whimpered and put my hand on Luke's head it was still warm. "Why did you have to die?" I choked hugging my brother I didn't know how long I was hugging him but the doctor came in no emotion in his eyes. "I'm sorry for your loss." He muttered not looking at me. "Get. The. Hell. Out." I hissed staring at the doctor he smiled and shook his head "It's my job to take care of the body's." He chuckled and it was not a friendly laugh it was an evil one. "Don't touch my brother." I yelled reaching for at my pocket. I always carried a pocket knife in case something happened like if I got kidnapped for example. "Put that down." He ordered I smiled and shook my head. He looked at me shock in his eyes "You would really kill a doctor?" He asked me his eyes were wide as saucers. "No, I would kill a murderer though." I said my voice as cold as ice cream. As I stabbed him I shuddered as I saw scarlet blood on my shiny knife that I was currently gripping. My hands shook with shock as I just realised I killed someone I heard the satisfying crash and a moan as the doctor fell down dead. "N-No." I moaned shaking my head but it was true there was blood on my hands and blood was surrounding around the doctor. I ran out of the room quickly putting the knife in my pocket which made me feel worse as I got home. "Hello, honey how was football practice." My mom asked me smiling brightly god I never saw her so happy before. "I-It was okay." I sputtered looking at my mom who's smile turned to a frown. "What happened?" She asked me "L-Luke is dead." I chocked out the words and felt utterly shocked at how dull and lifeless the words came out on my tongue. "W-What?" My moms voice cracked and I looked at we fresh tears glittered in her eyes. "Luke is dead." I said more firmly even though I felt horrible. "Oh sweetie." My mother said hugging me even though I knew she was trying to be brave for the both of us, she had streams of tears running down her cheeks. "I can't believe he is just dead." I cried putting my head on her shoulder as we just sat there on the couch crying and sobbing until we heard a knock on the door. "All get it." I murmured even though I probably looked like trash. I looked out and gasped "Hi Austin what brings you here?" I questioned him looking him up and down. "Brooklyn I have some confessions." Austin mumbled not looking at me. "What is it?" I choked out rubbing my eyes only to get black mascara on my hands. "I love you." He mumbled surprise flooded me like a wave that he just popped the love word on me "Why me?" I asked him he looked guilty "Because, when you moved here I had my eye on you for a while and now other boys do.." His voice trailed off and before I knew what I was doing I kissed him hard and firm not a soft kiss. Fireworks were flying as if I was on cloud 9 and suddenly he detached from me. "I do two." I said and soon we were just making out not caring if anyone saw us. "Brooklyn!" A voice snapped I turned around to see my mum standing there tapping her foot on the floor. "I thought you were dating.." She started but I silenced her a look. "And I thought you were going to marry dad..." I scoffed she looked at her eyes wide with guilt and sadness. I felt guilty at once that I just corrupted her and made her feel bad. "I-I'm sorry mum." I muttered not looking at her. "Get out." She muttered her voice cold "And don't come back until you learned your lesson!" She spat I felt horror rise in me I didn't want to leave me home and anger surged in me at the same time. "Maybe I will just like you did with dad!" I yelled a fresh tear slid down my cheek. She didn't look at me as I grabbed Austins hand storming out of the house. "Where are we going?" He asked puzzled "Any where but here." I muttered we got in his car it was a nice one had white seats and was bright red my favorite color and blue stripes across the front. He smirked clearly noticing I was checking out his car. "Like America?" He asked me smiling "You named your car?" I laughed at him he shrugged "All men do and besides it has all of the America colours." He chuckled shaking his head "Oh, so your a man now?" I teased he looked at me and smirked "Oh yes I am a man and I can prove it." He flirted I must of had a weird grossed out expression because he started laughing and pointing at my face. "Oh my god, you should of seen your reaction!" He laughed wiping a tear. "Aren't we suppose to go?" I asked him he nodded and we drove off even though his eyes flared with excitement. "So where do you want to go?" He asked me smiling batting his eyes. "How about.." I muttered tapping my chin to show I was thinking. "The Outback Steakhouse?" I asked him he nodded and soon we pulled up in front of the restaurant "By the way, this is not a date." I spoke my voice low and quiet. He pouted his eyes turned wide and sadness pooled in them "Aw I was hoping this was." He growled then got out of the car. "Y-You hoped?" I sputtered realising he said he wanted this to be a date. "N-No, I don't k-know!" He sputtered he looked nervous his skin was starting to glisten with sweat. "Okay." I giggled storming to the restaurant. I walked in and saw a waiter who was a man with brown wavy hair and piercing green eyes. "Well, hello miss how many are with you?" He asked me smiling. "Two." I said calmly his smile faded to a frown "Okay then follow me." He muttered rolling his eyes as he saw Austin coming in. We rushed past couples and other lonely girls who were siting with no one. "Here is your table." The waitress hissed not looking at me. "Thank you." I muttered "Devin." I said quickly he looked at me and nodded and left us alone. "Ooo seems like someone is jealous." Austin's voice sang in my ear "Ew no." I yelled silently "You sure he looked mad when he saw me." Austin chuckled then took out a menu and looked at the options I frowned at him and grabbed my menu. I couldn't decide whether to get the T-bone steak or the Ribeye one the ribeye one looked good with sizzling brown meat with some strange brown spice dazzled on them. "What are you getting?" I asked him he smiled "I'm getting the T-bone." He sung "You?" He asked me I blushed "The Pin wheel steak." I said I was looking at the picture it had a piece of meat swirled around with lettuce and a tiny bit of bacon around it. "Looks good." He said we waited there while the waiter soon came giving a silent glare at Austin. "What. Do. You. Want?" The waiter asked jealous and anger flared in his eyes. "All have the T-bone steak and my girl frie-" he stopped all of a sudden "My friend will have a pin wheel steak." He said finishing it off "Sorry sir but we are all out of T-bone steaks." The waiter growled he looked evil and some what dangerous. "All just have a salad then." Austin said slowly "Were all out of that two!" The waiter blurted out I looked at the ground uncomfortable. "All just have what she is having." Austin muttered not looking at me and staring at the waiter Austin eyes flamed with challenge and annoyance. "Is there something wrong, with that?" Austin growled the waiter shook his head "No but I can't believe you would treat the owner like this?" The waiter said all of a sudden and soon I looked up and saw everybody watching us. "May we eat please?" I asked the owner the owner looked down at me and smiled "Anything for a beautiful young women." He spoke his voice was creamy and welcoming. "Thank you." I muttered as he left Austin gave him a glare and I nodded to the door and soon we were out of that place.
