It has been nearly half a year since the pair stayed together, today was the last paper for Singto while Krist had his yesterday so he offered to cook celebratory dinner for the end of the school year.

Currently, our turtle is in a dilemma because he cannot figure out what to cook. If he cannot figure out the menu, he cannot buy the ingredients, which means he cannot get to making any dinner. He knows the senior was studying with his gang so calling or messaging to ask him was out of the question.

Maybe he should head out to the supermarket now and figure it out on the way. Perhaps he would get inspiration by the time he ends his 20 minutes' walk.

----

Krist was back home with a bag of cabbage and tomatoes, they had pork in the fridge still so it should be enough for tonight's dinner. He was going to cook clear soup with the many herbs in their kitchen and the freshly bought cabbages and tomatoes. Hopefully, it would be sour enough and not taste bland, it has been a long time since he cooked his special clear soup recipe. (Kit: Disclaimer that I don't know how to cook, so I'm literally just putting things together...)

"Okay, right now it's... 5pm. One hour before Phi comes back! Let's start right away then."

One hour later

Singto was back from the exam hall, he was not extremely tired but just slightly drained. But once the smell from the kitchen hit his nose, he felt warm and energized.

"Kit, I'm home."

"Oh, P'Sing! I'm almost done here, you can go wash up first then we can start eating."

Krist in an apron was a sight to see, it was cute. He looked like a housewife cooking for their husband who just came home from work, Singto being the husband. He was staring so much that he didn't notice the subject of his fancy already put down his ladle and came towards him.

"Phi, quickly go! Food waits for no man, haven't you heard of that?"

"It's time and tide waits for no man."

"Whatever! Go, if not you're eating out tonight."

"Krub pom, I'll listen to my wife and go wash up now."

While Singto left for his room with a cheeky smile, Krist sported a raging blush on his cheeks. He could be compared with the tomatoes in the soup and you won't see a difference.

After Singto came out of the bathroom with a towel hanging out his neck, he noticed that the bowls were all set up with the pot of soup in the middle, steam carrying the appetising smell wafting upwards.

"P'Sing, stop standing there. Put away the towel and come eat."

Singto did just that, he was hungry already and the smell of the soup stimulated his hunger even more. "I hope you don't mind it being simple, Phi. I couldn't figure out what to cook." Krist started scooping out a few ingredients to put with his rice.

"It's okay, Kit. It smells nice, is it clear soup?" Suddenly his bowl was filled with soup and a slice of tomato, he did not even notice when the other served him.

"Mhm, it's my special recipe!" He could see that Krist was proud of his recipe, it was like a child after he got praised for his new art piece.

Dinner passed by silently with the occasional clinking sound from the ladle and their cutlery. At the end of their celebration, Singto washed the dishes while Krist went for a shower since he already did the grocery shopping and cooking.

At the end of the day, after watching an episode of 'A tale of a thousand stars' Krist said goodnight to the alpha before heading to his room to hit the sack. People who saw how they were today would probably find it strange that this pair who act like a married couple slept in separate rooms. But they were, after all, not together and just living in the same dorm room. Plus, one is an alpha and the other, although unknown to others, was a highly fertile individual.

Kit: Hope you enjoyed this chapter! It's just the sixth week into semester one and I'm starting to feel the stress weighing me down. There are so many things to keep track of that I'm starting to forget to even watch a lecture.

Do you think I should stop writing notes weekly and just do them when I have a break from school and lessons?

Because I'm starting to feel like my mental health is declining, given how I shouted at my family not long ago and I've been overthinking more...
