An exclamation from Tooth caught the Guardians' attention as a few of her feathers shod from her. The bright illustration on the wall was suddenly clouded over and worn off by grey.

"The children... we're too late!"

"No, no! No such thing as too late!" North argued, frowning in thought. "Wait, wait, wait! Idea!" The Easter Bunny quickly dodged a sword pointed in his face. "We will collect the teeth!"

"What?!"

"We get teeth, children keep believing in you!" North insisted.

"We're talking seven continents and millions of kids-"

"Give me break," North waved his hand dismissively, "you know how many toys I deliver in one night?"

"And eggs I hide in one day?" the Bunny added.

"And, Jack and Daisy - if you two help us, we can get you the memories."

The Bunny rolled his eyes as the rest of the guardians smiled, and Jack nodded after a moment. "We're in!"

Just minutes later, the guardians were rushing from roof to roof with laughter, Jack consistently teasing the Easter Bunny as he went and pulled a wide-eyed Daisy with him.

"Hop to it rabbit! We're already five feet ahead!"

"Yeah, right. Look, I'd tell you to stay out of my way, but really, what's the point? 'Cause you won't be able to keep up anyway!"

"Is that a challenge, cottontail!?!"

"Oh, you don't want to race a rabbit, mate."

"Can we not?" Daisy spoke up, "because I can't really fly, and I don't want to die either!"

"A race? This is going to be epic!" North yelled in excitement, travelling from chimney to chimney.

"I can be the judge of it because I'm not going to try to keep up with you," Daisy said with a smile, landing on a high up roof. Jack grinned and nodded before darting away, and Daisy stayed watching with Tooth.

"I never thought this was how my night was gonna turn to," Daisy told her in awe. "I'm glad I believed when I did."

"It means so much," Tooth agreed happily. "You might get your answers too if this all goes well!"

The rest of the guardians were back in no time, holding up sacks full of teeth.

"Wow! You guys collect teeth and leave gifts as fast as my fairies!" Tooth frowned after speaking, looking between them all. "You guys have been leaving gifts, right?"

They shook their heads and cringed, and Daisy smirked with a slight roll of her eyes. They went back out again and then headed to the last place they had to visit.

"My home," Daisy repeated, burying her face in her hands. "Really? If you wake Sophie up you're pretty much doomed."

"Relax, it'll be fine!" North said gleefully, and Daisy crept inside, opening a window for them to enter into. Jamie was fast asleep, and Tooth looked around his room in contentment.

"Left central incisor," she said quietly, glancing at Jamie's belongings and picking up his tooth, "knocked out in a freak sledging accident. I wonder how that could have happened, Jack." Daisy smiled and looked to him knowingly, and Jack chuckled.

"Kids, huh?" Jack looked at the drawing Jamie had proudly completed and put up on his wall as Tooth hid some money under his pillow.

"This was always the part I liked most," she told them. "Seeing the kids. Why did I ever stop doing this?"
