The same fate as Daphne

  I soon got to school and drove into the compound  just in time to see Sasha alight from a Black Camry.
    Oh yeah! That must be her dad's car.
  I parked out in the car lot and  Cory alighted and   ran off , not saying a word.
   I sighed , I hope my words got into her.
   Grabbing my backpack  , I alighted from the car and came face to face with ——-Sasha
  "Good Lord". I exclaimed , holding my chest . "You scared the shit out of me"
  " Sorry Dec". she chuckled. "I saw you drive in so I decided to wait for you".
   "Oh". I closed the car door and we began walking to the class.
  "So what was Cory doing in your car?"She suddenly asked
  I smiled lightly, knowing she would ask about her
"Nothing, I only gave her a ride".
  "Ride?"
"Yes. She said Racheal dropped her off the road". I explained
   She shook her head in disgust. "Racheal
is really a beast".
   I merely nodded , biting my lower lips.
    
Entering the class, I settled into my seat and reached into my backpack for a novel, about to read when the school secretary walked in.
Her gaze traveled round the class till it met mine.
"Declan Davies". she nodded towards me . "the principal wants to see you in his office".she informed and left.
I felt all eyes on me and stood up , not sparing anyone a glance as I walked out of the class to the principal office.

  The door to his office was closed and I took a deep breathe, knocking on it.
"Come in". he answered
   I pushed the door open then and walked in and saw him typing into his laptop.
     "Good morning sir". I greeted
"Morning Declan". he responded, his eyes still on his laptop.
   "You asked to see me sir". I said  and only then did he look at me .
  "You can have your seat". he offered and I did, sitting comfortably.
      "hmm  so you see". he cleared his throat.
   "I did as promised and the fact still remains the same"
"What fact?"I asked
He sighed. "your sister was not murdered, she committed sucide .
  "Really? I scoffed . " why did you say so?what investigation did you carry out?"
    A light smile played on his lips . "I talked to the chief police on the possibility of Daphne being murdered and he said it was all bullshit".
I bit my lips , trying to stop myself from screaming
It was so obvious he was trying to conceal the truth ,but he should get prepared because I am gonna to do everything possible to get justice for my sister
He continued. "So Declan you just have to accept the fact , your sister killed herself because of her lover".
"Lover. where is this so- called lover? I mean do I know him?"I asked in a huff
      "What?" His eyes bulged out of its socket.
"Yes . tell me , who is this college lover of hers that no one knows?" I asked again .
"Erm i erm it was her best friend statement and not mine". he stuttered his response.
"Interesting". I smirked. "So no one knows this college lover except Cory".
   He exhaled deeply. "I know how you feel Declan but you just have to accept the fact Daphne is dead and gone"
"Oh!'was the only thing I said as I stared at the monster in front of me , then faked a smile
"Can I go to my class ?"
   He nodded , grinning widely
And with a heavy heart, I got off the chair and walked out of the office.
Don't worry Daphne! I will make sure your death is not in vain.

Sasha Alfredo

Restless, I sat down there in the almost empty classroom waiting for Daphne to return.
She saw  the worrisome look on my face when Declan left the class so she decided on her own to follow him to the principal office.
But why did the principal ask to see Declan? Did he cause any trouble? or ....wait a minute! Is it because of Daphne? Did he confront the principal about her?
No it can't be. I mean I know Declan is stubborn , but I never expected him to be so rash with his decisions.
  Right at the moment, I felt a presence beside me — Daphne
"Spill it out". I said in whispers
  "Okay". She cleared her throat before . "It is all about me , the principal is still insisting I committed suicide". She sighed sadly
      I nodded , gesturing her to continue
"He told Declan to forget about me since I am dead and gone".
I looked around the class to make sure no one was looking and then turned sideways to  her
"And what was Declan response?"
"Nothing, he just smiled".
    "Alright". I nodded , looking away from her.
"But why is the class almost empty?"She queried.
I smirked. "Have you forgotten Fridays is meant for personal study".
"Then what are you doing here". She retorted . "let go to the library to study".
"No. It  will be filled up with students and I hate crowd". I explained
"hmmmmh then what about the empty classroom?" She suggested
    "That is better". I nodded in agreement
"You can message Declan to join you there , I can't wait to see you both kiss". She teased.
   I huffed . "Spoilt brat". I stood up and we both walked out of the class , climbing up the stairs to the empty classroom.

Entering , I stopped dead in my track.
Racheal and Cory were kissing right in front of me.
I pinched my self to be sure I was not dreaming and it was certainly not a dream.
"Racheal, Cory". I called out in shock and only then did they notice me.
    They pulled out from the kiss in an instant , staring like they just saw a ghost.
"Whaat ...are...... yyyou doing here?"Cory stuttered and  broke down in tears.
I looked at her and then at Rachel who had a blank look on her face.
         "You lesbians?"
" it is ... not what you think". Cory struggled her words in between tears.
"Would please shut up please". Racheal barked , looking daggers at her
Ashamed , Cory reached for her back pack which was on the table and ran out of the class, crying
I watched her go and then faced Racheal
"What the hell did I just see? Are you both Lesbians?" I stared at her in disbelief
   There was no response, she just stood there staring into space.
"I never knew you were dumb". I snickered
   She exhaled deeply. "I am not a lesbian".
   "Oh please". I laughed loudly. "What then were you doing? having sisterly kiss?"I mocked.
       "Stop it". She clutched her fist tightly.
"Wow! Wow! Wow". I continued. "If you are into women , why then were you warning me to stay off Declan?"
"Leave Declan out of this". She retorted angrily and swears , I saw the raw anger in her eyes.
"Like seriously". I scoffed . " I should leave him out of this . how do you think he will react when he finds out his ex girlfriend is a lesbian?"I said trying to get into her and I guess it worked because a flicker of fear crossed her face
"And who will tell him?" her gaze was fixed on me
"Me".
"You dare not". She threatened and I smiled lightly
"Then watch me do it" I began walking to the entrance but she caught me by my arm.
"Please don't tell him".'She begged.
   I looked at her hand and then at her
     "Let me go". I half yelled
"Please Sasha". She tightened her hold on me . "don't tell Declan, I don't want him to hate me, i don't want him to see me as a bad person". She pleaded like her life depended on it.
I huffed . "Let go of me Racheal or else".
"What if we strike a deal?" She spoke quickly.
"What deal?" I arched my eyebrow and  she smiled shyly, letting go of me
"I will tell everything you need to know about Daphne murder , and In return you will keep my secret"
"Do you think I am a fool?" I scoffed
"Are you in or not?" She asked calmly, tilting her head sideways. 
    I swallowed hard . This is my chance of knowing the truth!
"how do you expect me to believe you?"I glanced at Daphne who had a far away look on her face
"Because I was there when Daphne was murdered". She answered and I gasped audibly in shock.
"What happened to her? Who murdered her?"
    "Are you in or not?" She smiled lightly.
"Damn!" I cursed silently , not knowing what else to do.
"I am in".
"Good". she grinned widely. "Let's meet at the school bus station closer  by 19:00pm".
"19: 00pm". I repeated in shock . "isn't that too late?"
"You can choose not to come".She simply replied.
I bit my lips in anger. "why can't you just tell me right here?"
"That is because I need to bring the evidence along".
"What evidence?"
She smiled lightly. "When you come , I will explain to you".
Fine, Let's meet by 19:00pm". I agreed and turned around to leave when she called me.
"Yes". I faced her
"Don't tell anyone about it , not even Declan"
  "Alright". I agreed and slowly walked
out of the classroom lost in my own thoughts.
"Will you do as she says?"Daphne asked
    I slowly shifted my gaze to her. "I don't know , I am really confused".
"Then confide in Declan". She advised and I sighed without uttering a word.

We got to class and I looked towards Declan seat and saw him seated on the chair, his head placed on the table as he listened to music with the headphone connected to his ear .
I walked up to him and tapped him gently
     "Declan"
he raised his head and looked at me , then smiled.
"Hey baby". he took off the headphone. "where have you been?"
"looking around for you". I lied
"Just tell him the truth" Daphne scoffed but I ignored her.
"And you , Why did the principal ask to see you? I questioned, staring intently at him.
  "Nothing". he simply replied.
"Really? I frowned. "you mean the principal called to tell you nothing?
He sighed. "Can you let this pass please".
"No way". I hit my fist on the table . "I need to know and that is final".
"Fine! Fine! Fine". he raised his hand in defeat". "The principal called to know how I was faring".
"You bloody liar". I cursed , and with that, stormed to my seat
  How dare he lie to my face!
"You need to Calm down Sasha". Daphne cautioned."he is only trying to save you from the stress".
"I don't care". I half yelled and Cory spun around to face me
"What?" I mouthed at her
   "Nothing". she looked away
I scoffed . how dare she look at me with that lesbian face of hers . Damn! Everything sucks.

Racheal Hampton

Immediately Sasha left , I reached into my jean pocket for my phone and dialled a number.
The person picked through the second ring
"Hi kelvin". I greeted first
"Hi baby". he responded. "Are you already missing me?" his voice alone made me squeeze my face in disgust
"No erm I mean yes". I stuttered my response
"What exactly are you saying?" he chuckled.
"I need your help this night". I exhaled deeply
There was a pause and then he sighed
"what kind of help?"
"Well" I shrugged. "It is something simple, and lot of money will be involved". I quickly added knowing fully well how much he loves money.
"Lot of money! I love that". he remarked
"Good". I smiled inwardly. "I will brief you on the details when I am back from school".
"Sure , and that will be after we have a quickie......I hung up before he could complete his statement
Crazy fool!

Cory Abel

I shifted on my seat worriedly ,pondering on what next to do.
I can't let it happen all over again. No way. I can't let Sasha share the same fate as Daphne.
   Closing my eyes , I tried to think but couldn't as my brain was completely frozen.
Oh God! What should I do? I began racking my brain for solution when Declan words rang in my head.
"I will assure no harm come to you"
Can he really do that? I looked toward his seat and noticed him staring at Sasha, like his eyes was all over her.
Despite my pensive mood , a smile escaped from my lips.
   He was clearly is in love with her which is something Racheal failed to see.
  Oh Cory! What will you do now? will you put aside your dreams to save a friend!!!!!!!!!!
