Sanyukta was trying to ready herself mentally to meet her past tonight.

It's all past.

It shouldn't affect you anymore.

You are a changed person now.

Those people can't affect you anymore.

No matter what they say, don't fucking dare to cry.

No crying.

And no running away.

Definitely not running away.

If they try something, you have to take a stand.

Come on.

Be a women.

Women are strong.

You can do this.

She keep repeating all these things to the mirror while dressing up for tonight.

Don't be nervous.

Look happy.

Smile sanyukta.

She keep telling her reflection in the mirror but all she saw was a sad and scared women.

Why I am like this?

She has choosen a white crop top with long glittery pink skirt. The skirt felt heavy around her waist forming a dense umbrella around her feet.

Her plan was clear. She will go late in the party. She will stick to aunt Zara until cake cutting and then after she will leave the party by making any excuse she can think of.

Everyone had gone. She was alone in the house. Peter said he would pick her up when the party begin.

Look confident.

That frown is making you more ugly than you already are.

She moved away from the mirror. She knew where this conversation is going.

Back to self hate which always lowers down her self esteem.

A knock came from the door and she wonders if the party is starting early.

It must be Peter as she asked him to pick her up.

Sighing lightly, she moved to the door..

"I'm already stressed up. So even if I look bad, hold your precious comments in your head till the end of the party." Sanyukt laughed while opening the door.

Rewind.

I want a fucking rewind button in my life.

Randhir stood there, covered in black tux, bathed with confidence and watching her keenly. His gaze look cold but when it ran down her body, it warned her up.

"I thought it was Peter... to pick me up." Sanyukta explained. No evidence of smile or humor on her face.

She hadn't talked to him since last time in his office.

"He asked me to pick you up. Are you ready?" Randhir asked, normally.

"Let me get my clutch." Sanyukta walked to the mirror where her clutch was. She looked in the mirror and saw Randhir reflection in it. His gaze was fixed on the mirror too.

He didn't looked pleased.

Randhir knew she is nervous about Tonight and it angered him that he can't do anything about it.
