Getting to the top

The Docters Office

When we got to the docters office my mom helped me in again. We walked inside and went to the waiting room. They called us in and we sat down. I took off my shoe. Me and my mom waited for Dr. Hamilton to come in. About 2 minutes later he came in. Dr. Hamilton looked at my ankle. He said we needed an x-ray. "Before we go to get an x-ray you need to wait here.". He came back in with some crutches. Dr. Hamilton gave them to me and we went to the 5th floor and to the x-ray room. I had never been in here before. He told me what to do. It sounded easy. Dr. Hamilton and my mom went into a little room with a computer and a glass window. I layed down on the machine. I stayed still for about 5 minutes. Then they came out of the little room and he sent me and my moms back to his office. He said he's be in in a minute. He walked in and sat down. "Kate, your ankle is fractured". "Can I dance?" I asked. "Not for 5 weeks" He said. "So I'll only have 3 weeks to prepare for the oireachtas?" I asked nervously. "I'm afraid so" he said. "Kate, you have been practicing for 3 months already. You won't forget your steps." my mom told me. "Kate, boot or cast?" Dr. Hamilton asked. "Boot" I said. He left the room and came back in with a boot. He put it on my left foot.

My mom and I walked back out to the car. I was having a hard time getting used to the crutches. We drove home. I walked in and went to the kitchen, opened a cupboard and got out a goldfish snack pack. I went over to the couch and turned on the tv. I put on dance moms. My yorkie came over to me and jumped on the couch right next to me. Her name is maggie.

The show was ending. Kelly was yelling at abby and it turnded into a big fight and Kelly left. When it ended I fell asleep.
