The girls were sitting anxiously in the dorms waiting for the time to come when they would head down stairs to their dates. Seeing as Olivia didn't have a date she wasn't in the least bit in a hurry. Meanwhile Hermione and the other girls were having a fit trying to perfect themselves.
It was almost time for the ball and the girls were ready to head down. First Parvati and Lavender went down to their dates, while Hermione was scared out of her mind because she was going with Krum.
"C'mon 'Mione! You look awesome if victor doesn't like it I will personally pull out his teeth." Olivia smiled and hugged her friend. Hermione grimaced crossing her arms over her chest. Looked torn over something. "If your worried about Ron-"
"It's not Ron!" Hermione cut Olivia off. Olivia priced her lips and raised her eye brows holding her hands in front of her. She mutters a sorry and sat down on her bed, pishing the dress she hated so. After a few minutes of procrastination the two girls were ready to go.
Hermione was in front of Olivia as they walked towards the great hall. Olivia saw that Hermione was anxious and stopped her before she could get any farther.
" 'Mione let me go first. They'll see you after and lose their breath, especially Victor." Olivia pushes herself in front of her friend and walked down the stairs. When she saw all the people looking at her she blushed and fastened her pace. She reached the bottom of the stairs and was met with the face of Cedric Diggory. Olivia smiled when she saw Cho Chang behind her friend.
"So?" She breathed "you got the girl did you?" She crossed her arms over her chest and rocked back and forth on her feet, after smiling at Cho. Cedric smiled at her and looked to the girl behind him.
"Yeah, yeah I did." He said breathlessly Cedric turned at the voice of Professor McGonagall calling him for some sort of dance. Olivia waved then goodbye, and went to find someone to talk to. The only thing was, she had no one. She was happy all her friends had someone, and she was willing to put them before herself, but sometimes it hurt to finally be in a relation ship then have it all go down the drain because she wasn't good enough.
She felt like this too often. When she was at her old school she had few friends because of her blood. Back at her home she had more friends than she did at school, but she never got to see them. Sometimes things were to hard for her. Sometimes she would cry at night, then punch walls and hurt herself because she shouldn't be crying. Sometimes she would sit alone doing nothing because she didn't want to get up. Sometimes she didn't want to eat because she didn't think she was good enough for anyone.
Sometimes she wanted to be dead.
People all around would say they, "want to be dead" because of school or they are just a teenager. Olivia's thought were real. She never wanted to tell anyone cause all she heard from people was, "they are doing it for attention" or "it's just a phase" she didn't want to be another one of those people who are shunned because of her problems. She'd rather help others with their problem than deal with her own, it was almost a coping mechanism. Maybe not a healthy one but it was.
Olivia snapped out of her little daze when she spotted Fred Weasley walking Up to her. She plastered a fake smile on her face and raised her eyes brows at the boy. She didn't see Angelina anywhere and that confused Olivia, shouldn't they be getting ready to dance?
"Where's Angie?" Fred looked startled at her question but smiled and turned towards where Angelina was, talking with some friends.
"Talking to katie and Alicia." He answered her question putting his hands in his pockets and looking to his shoes as if they were the most important thing in the world. Olivia furrowed her eyebrows. How could someone's attitude change so quickly?
"Hey what's wrong?" Olivia set a hand on his arm causing his eyes to shoot up to where she was.
"I- um..." Olivia sensed his discomfort and pulled him along to a corner where they wouldn't be noticed. "I was wondering if you would save me a dance." He finished smiling as if he had just came up with the best lie in the world. The truth was, Fred was in love with how Olivia looked.
You could tell she didn't like the dress, Fred could see that, but she still looked amazing in it. Her hair was put half up and half down, the pony-tail and the hair down was wavy, and she had very natural makeup on. It consisted of some foundation to cover some of her acne, mascara, a light coating of pink blush, and a nude lipstick. When lavender was doing it she couldn't do anything more without squirming.
All Fred wanted to do was dance with her. She didn't have a date because of the jerk Jack. He wanted to take her mind off of what happened, and it didn't help that the jerk himself was there looking for someone it seemed. Fred was about to tell Olivia how well she looked when Dumbledore called in the champions. Everyone was whisked to the doors, and Fred lost Olivia in the crowd.

Olivia was sitting with Harry and Ron while she watched the people dance. She had tried multiple times to get the boys to dance with her, but they refused. She had got Parvati and Parma to dance with her laughing and ruining the hair the girls had done. She had never once seen Fred since he talked to her before. She was starting to get worried, but then frowned at a thought that came to mind. He was probably with Angelina outside.
The trio plus the Patail twin turned to where Hermione was walking toward them. Ron and Hermione started arguing, that ended with Hermione crying.
"Ron! How could you do that?" Olivia was yelling in Ron's face. Ron just rolled his eyes and turned from her. Olivia threw a death glare at the figure and ran after her friend, not before being pulled behind a pillar and finding two hands in her waist. Olivia looked up to her captor and saw the big brown eyes of Jack. She pushed off her ex boy friend and snarled in his face.
"What in the flying fuck do you want?" Jack frowned and tried to tuck hair behind her ear. She slapped his hand and backed away from him.
"Please let me explain I-" she cut him off before he could go anymore.
"There is nothing to explain you cheated on me and that's that!" She tried to run away getting more and more angry by the minute. Jack looked like he was about to cry but he stepped away from the girl giving the space she needed.
"Yes I did but there is a bigger explanation! You and I were together and then I met Alex an-" Olivia almost screamed this time, right into the boys face.
"Oh, so she has a name now?" She crossed her arms over her chest and raised an angry eyebrow. "Jack you cheated on me go see this Alex Girl!"
"Jesus Olivia who said anything about girl!" Olivia's mouth opened and closed like a fish putting two and two together.
"I'm gay..."
