AUBREY HUDSON was peacefully sleeping when a felt a cold pillow smashed against her face. "Come on dork, we're gonna be late!" Aubrey's older brother Finn told her.
"Why do you care anyways?" Aubrey asks, her voice muffled as she stuffed her face back into her pillow.
"Because if we get ready early Mom won't be dressed meaning she won't have to drive us and embarrass us, remember your first day of third grade?" Finn asks.
"How could I forget, she made you take like, 17 pictures of me and her in front of the school, then she started crying!" Aubrey says, a frown forming on her face, remembering that day. "I'm pretty sure it was 18" Finn says, through a laugh.
"But seriously get ready!" Finn tells her, exiting his sisters room. She groans in annoyance before getting dressed.
She gets dressed and quickly runs to her bathroom to brush her teeth and hair before running down stairs to get breakfast.
She enters the kitchen heading straight to the cabinet to grab the bread. She grabs two slices, putting them in the toaster before pushing down the button. She walks over to the pantry, grabbing the peanut butter just in time as the toast pops up.
She quickly spreads the peanut butter over the toast, her stomach grumbling as she puts the knife in the sink.
She puts back all of the supplies and cleans up her mess before devouring the toast, the taste of mint and peanut butter mixing together making her cringe.
"Geez dude, your like a pig, I told you skipping dinner last night was a bad idea." Finn says as he finishes his cereal.
"I couldn't eat last night, I was so nervous about today, it's my first day of High School dude, that's pretty important." She tells him, making him scoff. "Not really" Finn says, putting his bowl in the sink as Aubrey rolls her eyes.
"Uh yeah it is." She fights back.
"No"
"Yeah"
"No"
"Yeah"
"N-" Finn starts to say before he's interpreted by their Mom, Carole.
"Kids! Stop fighting! What are the rules in the morning?" Carole says, annoyed.
"Don't fight before Moms had her coffee." Finn and Aubrey repeated.
"Good, now you guys should probably get going unless you want me to dri-" Carole started to tell the siblings before they told her bye and scrambled out the door.
