( season one, episode one )

It was Saturday and instead of watching Gilmore Girls with Finn and mom, the New Directions and I had to take a field trip to Carmel High School to watch their Glee club, Vocal Adrenaline.

"Your very talented." Rachel told Finn as she walked in the middle of us. "Really?" Finn asked, "Yeah, I would know I'm very talented too." She stated, confidently.

"I'm gonna leav- you don't care, bye!" I stated, leaving the two who didn't notice I was leaving.

"Hey Artie" I said walking up to him. "Oh- uh, Hi Aubrey, whatcha doing?" He asked me. "Trying to get away from Finn and Rachel, can I hang out with you?" I asked him. "Yeah, sure, definitely!" He said excitedly which made me laugh. "Great!" I said with a big smile.

"What was Rachel talking about with Finn?" Artie asked. "Well at first she complimented him, but then that just turned into her complimenting herself." I said with a laugh. "That's Rachel for you, she's a nut job!" Artie said which made me laugh.

"Yeah, hold on, FINN!" I scream getting his attention, "GET ME SOME SOUR PATCH KIDS!" I yell. "OKAY!" He yells back. Artie laughs, "You guys have a really close relationship, huh?" He asks.

"Yeah, he's my only sibling and I didn't really have lots of friends growing up, plus we're
close in age so he's always let me hang out with him, he's my best friend." I say smiling.

"That's really cool, I don't have any siblings and the only friend I've ever had is Tina." He says.
"Well Tina seems like a awesome friend so you should be proud." I say, "Oh yeah she is, but if I have to hear her talk about Mike Chang one more time, I might scream!" He says which makes me laugh.

"Wait, footballer Mike Chang?" I ask, "Yup, that's the one." He says. "Aren't him and his best friend like the only footballers who don't throw slushes?" I ask. "Yeah" He says. "Hm, she picked a good one!" I say with a smile.

"I guess so, let's just hope he doesn't break her heart because I'll run him over." He states with a serious face that makes me laugh. "Oh definitely, I'll help!" I say with a laugh.

A couple minutes after I talked with Artie, we had to make our way towards the auditorium. I found my seat between Finn and Artie and started to sit down when Mr. Schue talked to us.

"Hey guys!" Mr. Schue said, "So this is supposed to be our 'competition'. But uh, I honestly don't think they have the talent we got." Mr. Schue stated confidentiality.

"But let's be a good audience, alright? Give them some good old McKinley High respect!" He told us as we all nodded.

Soon after his speech, the lights dimmed and the speaker told us that they were starting. I couldn't help but agree with Mr. Schue, I mean, it's a choir in Ohio, it can't be that good.
