A New Encounter

Ayato's P.O.V

Ugh, I don't wanna wake up for school. Nah, I just don't wanna walk up in general. Recently, my family moved houses because of certain reasons; reasons that I don't know myself, even being their child. Because I had moved houses, I was also transferred to another school. Some school by the name of Shuchi'in Academy? It sounds kinda weird. Because of this situation, I won't be able to see many of my friends from my old school. It's sad, but it isn't something that I'm not used to. That's cause I've moved schools before.

"Ayato? Wake up already. It's your first day at your new school. At least wake up on time." screamed Ayato's mom from the kitchen

"Cooomingg." groaned Ayato while rolling in bed with the blanket ontop of him.

Damn, I can just hear my mom's footsteps going up the stairs. Looks like I won't be able to stay in this position forever.

Goddamn, this is so damn nerve-wracking. Going to the front of my new school is so terrifying for some reason. I don't wanna leave my mom's car. I can't do this. I'll be such a loner.

"Ok Ayato, here's your new school. Be a good boy and have a great day!" said my mom in a positive tone.

"Yeah thanks."

I walk to the entrance of my new school. Thank god I came slightly later, so I wouldn't have to see anyone's face. I enter the school and I pull out my guiding page or whatever you call it. I start walking to my classroom and see the door to my classroom as well as a male adult waiting there. He notices me and walks up to me.

"Hello there young man," said the adult. "Are you Shiro Ayato-kun? The new transfer student?"

"Oh yeah, I am. Are you my home room teacher?"

"Yes I am. My name is Mr. Kanda. I look forward to this school year."

He extended his arm for a handshake and I accepted it.

"Wait out here for a moment, I'll introduce you to the class."

"Thanks."

Mr. Kanda walks into the classroom and starts talking to everyone. I could hear everything he was saying; how thin are these walls?

"Shiro-kun, would you like to come in?"

No I really don't.

I put my hand on the doorknob and enter the classroom. It seemed quite normal; the class layout that is.

"My name's Shiro Ayato. I'm a transfer student from Kiyose Higashi Middle School. It's a pleasure to be here."

No, it really isn't. I wanna die, I can't handle the pressure. I definitely screwed up first impressions.

"Now Shiro-kun, you could have a seat next over there, next to the window" said Mr. Kanda while pointing to a seat beside the window.

I walk up to my seat, trying my best not to make eye contact with anyone in my surroundings. I put my bags down and sit down. I'm currently sitting next to the window with a blond-white haired girl to my right, and a black-haired boy behind me. The boy behinds me taps on my shoulder, which shocked me a bit.

"Yo transfer student." said my classmate. "You went to Kiyose Higashi? I have a friend who went there before."

"Really? Who was it?"

"Tomita Kichirou, second year."

"Oh you know Tomita?"

"Yeah, we're family friends."
