Maybe Kuboyasu shouldn't have come by at this time.

If you don't know where we left off, we saw a man with vibrant attire walk into the cafe, asking if the place is open. Jet Black Win- I mean, Kaidou, was greeting this customer, but instead, he is now frozen, similar to a statue at a museum. He looks shocked, or in awe at this new customer.

Can you guess who it is?

Yup, that's right. It's Kuboyasu Aren.

During his time at school, he asked an upperclassman, by the name Hairo, if there were any good cafes nearby. Hairo, happy to help, suggested the Craft Cafe for their sugary sweets and divine coffee. He also suggested trying their coffee jelly, which he took note of.

It would have been nice to take his motorcycle to the cafe, but it needed some repairs. So he had no choice but to walk. The stroll wasn't that bad; there was a perfect light breeze that danced in the atmosphere. On the way, he was able to pet a cute corgi that passed by him.

He considers that the highlight of his day.

But let's come back to the present, shall we?

"Uh...", Kuboyasu stares at Kaidou, still frozen, "Did I come a the wrong time? I could leave if you want-"

"Oh! No- don't leave!", Kaidou shrieks, as a voice crack emits from his throat. 'Shit, I hope he didn't hear that.' Kaidou clears his throat, trying again. "We close at 6 pm." He turns his head at the clock, which speaks the time. "It's 4:37 right now, so it's fine."

"Oh, cool," the former delinquent replied, "I just thought something was wrong. Your reaction when I came looked like you didn't like me." He looked down at his shoes, which worried Kaidou even more.

"It wasn't that, don't worry!" Kaidou quickly reassured, words were jumbling at his mouth. "I just never seen someone with such...fashion sense."

Kuboyasu pondered the response from Kaidou, then smirked.

"Oh? You trying to tell me I look bad or something?" He teased. Of course, it was a friendly tease, a joke of some sort. Well, to Kuboyasu it is. Kaidou looked like he was gonna explode out of embarrassment.

"Wha- No NO! Your style looks amazing! It's so vibrant and so pretty! I mean, not that you're not pretty, you look very handsome- BUT NOT LIKE THAT I PROMISE-" Kaidou rants with exaggerated motions with his arms. Kuboyasu's face shifts into a face of concern, and he reached an arm out to Kaidou.

"Is everything okay, over here?" a voice chirps. The two boys turn around to see Mera whose hands are behind their back, a grin on their face. Uh oh. Kaidou knew that grin. Mera knows about something. "I heard some commotion and I wanted to make sure everything was okay."

Kaidou, now blushing a very obvious red, was about to respond when our plum-haired boy beat him to it."Everything's fine," Kuboyasu replied, "Just some misunderstandings. Is there a booth for one person here?"

"Yes, of course! Right this way," Mera answers as she grabs a menu from the table. Kuboyasu follows her to a secluded booth in the back. The mahogany table was illuminated by the light that shone through the glass beside it. To even give it a pop of color, the booth was gifted with a vase full of two anemones. One of them is a vibrant red, matching Kaidou's ribbon that was tightly secured on his forearms. Mera tries to explain to him it's a huge violation code, but Kaidou reassures her it's to keep everyone safe from his destructible powers. The other is a purple that pops like objects in a 3-D movie; the color perfectly fits Kuboyasu's hair.

"Here's your menu. Kaidou will be your server for today." Mera turns to Kaidou, "I'll leave the rest to you Kaidou. Don't mess up, okay?" Kaidou gulps before nodding slowly. He watched Mera walk to the kitchen and sighed.
