Izuku's body remained motionless on the cold cell floor, eyes vacant, expression calm-eerily so. The tears on his cheeks still shimmered like glass, catching the dim light of the dungeon, but his breathing was slow, shallow, and steady. It was as if the panic had been erased, leaving behind an empty, glassy calm.
Kirishima stared at him in stunned silence, heart pounding. Something was wrong.
Denki's voice broke the quiet. "What... what happened to him?" he asked, his tone shaky.
"I asked that earlier," came a new voice behind them, sharp and unimpressed. "But no one had the decency to explain."
Kirishima jumped, spinning to find Bakugou standing at the doorway, arms crossed and eyes narrowed like daggers.
"Kat-uh-look, we can explain," Kirishima stammered.
But lying to Bakugou was impossible.
"We heard screaming and came to check it out. Denki was ahead of me, and when I got there, he was panicking-said the kid wouldn't stop shaking-so he thought it'd be a good idea to use calming pheromones to settle him down. It worked... sort of. Now he's like that and we don't know what the hell we did!"
"Shut up," Bakugou snapped, already walking past them.
He knelt beside Izuku, eyes narrowing as he assessed the scene. He inhaled-but there were no pheromones in the air. None. His expression shifted from confusion to realization.
"You idiots," he muttered. "You sent him into omega void."
Kirishima and Denki froze.
(Omega void-far more dangerous than omega space. Not as rare as legends claimed, but rare enough. It occurred when an omega experienced a form of calm or safety they hadn't felt in years, if ever. Unlike omega space, which was triggered near heat, void could happen at any time-and last much, much longer.)
Bakugou moved quickly, kneeling down to scoop the small boy into his arms. Izuku's body went completely limp in response to the touch, but not from fear. It was as if he had simply... shut down. Light as air, weightless like someone who hadn't eaten in days.
Bakugou's voice softened as he looked back at his two guards. "I'm taking him to the med wing. Stay here. Relax."
Both nodded wordlessly as Bakugou turned and carried Izuku out of the cell, holding him gently like he might break.

Bakugou knocked once, but the door was yanked open before he could lower his fist. Mina latched onto him in a bone-crushing hug.
"BAKUBABES!" she chirped.
"H-hey, Mina-" he coughed, shifting slightly to keep hold of the boy in his arms.
Mina pulled back and her gaze landed on Izuku, still nestled against Bakugou's chest.
"Oh my god... is that-?"
"The male omega," Bakugou confirmed. "Yeah. I need your help."
He gently laid Izuku down on one of the medical beds as Mina grabbed two chairs. They both sat beside him while Bakugou explained everything.
