Kirumi stared at the baby at her arms with disgust. It reminded her of something. An unfamiliar feeling. She doesn't know what. She just knows the violette was violating her train of thought as a maid. She was ashamed of herself for finding disgust in a baby, but even more ashamed of the fact that she doesn't know why.
The baby knew, of course. Well, knew that she was acting strangely. She would avoid eye contact while giving a baby bottle. She would try to look around, as if she wanted to give the baby to someone else as soon as possible. She rushed things too many times. Ultimately, the baby was confused. Suspicion arises from them, and it was apparent.
Kirumi looked at the baby and wondered what she did. Perhaps she treated it harshly? No, she was treating the baby just fine. What does she do at this situation? She isn't used to being a parental figure. She wouldn't know anything. Of course she wouldn't. Why would she? She didn't do anything before this cruel killing game. So why does she not trust herself in the hands of an infant?
The baby was looking around, like they were counting stars. Like they were looking at a beautiful black sky. Someone was known for looking at stars and black skies.
Where has Kaito Momota gone? He was taking too long. The baby was even baffled at how the astronaut would understand his gibberish babbling. The baby tried to tell his plan to the astronaut. But all that came up were muffled words. Kaito would've thought the baby was just asking for a piggyback ride rather than the baby communicating a plan to save their classmates, if it weren't for the fact that the baby was more angry than usual.
He would throw a tantrum if he messed up the words. He would cry if he forgot what he was gonna say. He would desperately try to tell Kaito what his plan was to help all his classmates. He didn't want them to die. What a poor baby, experiencing pressure at such a young age. What a poor astronaut, trying to understand what the boy is saying. He wouldn't have even known the other was talking about Tsumugi.
The blue girl was suspicious too. She was fast, very fast. Quickly getting the clothes and making them to give to Kokichi. Even after it's only been announced he needed clothes. Did she have clothes all this time?
Kokichi was trying to say something. The baby knew too much, so it's a relief how he can't communicate. This book would be so boring with everyone already knowing the mastermind.
Kirumi held the baby's finger as he was holding it out. It gave her so much mixed feelings. The baby was adorable, so adorable. Adorably so that she would've loved to have kids in the future. If it weren't for the growing pain in her heart when she imagines being called mom. Why does she hate it?
Kokichi would've known why she hated it. But alas, he can't keep all the information on his undeveloped brain. If it even was undeveloped. He just knew that he wanted Kirumi to look at him. Once more. He doesn't remember why she looks so hesitant to even have him at her arms, but he can tell that she has something on her mind.
If Kokichi was still Kokichi, he would prowl the information away from her. Ask her what was wrong, but ask her in a way that makes her more disgusted than she already is. But he couldn't. So all he wanted was for Kirumi to stare at his purple eyes, just to see what she looked like once more.
Because if his plan fails, he may never get to see her again.
