The Ultimate Child Caregiver

Deep in thought. Who is going to take care of him? Of course, everyone looked at Maki Harukawa. Her ultimate is "Ultimate Child Caregiver".

Maki then looked at everyone before realizing it.

"Oh- Oh no..."

Rantaro slowly walked up to her and handed Kokichi to her. Her first instinct, of course, was to hold him. Kokichi giggled and hugged her.

"He seems to like you! Why not you take care of him?"

Maki was silent before finally giving in.

"Fine,"

"But first, can I take his measurements?" Tsumugi asked. Maki nodded and gave him to Tsumugi knowing what she was trying to do.

Suddenly, Tsumugi got a measurement tape out of nowhere and started her job. Kokichi was surprisingly calm as she did so. After she was done, she smiled at him before running to her lab.

Maki held Kokichi again.

"I'm Maki." Kokichi then remembered some memories and gasped.

"Bwig sis Ma! Wemembwer me? Nishishi~" Maki was taken aback by this, 'Remember him? Did I know him?'

"Oh, well, um."

"I hope fwiends in orphanage good!" Everyone's eyes widened by Kokichi's sentence.

"Orphanage?" Maki asked him, with a curious tone. She quickly shook her head knowing that a baby won't know a lot. "Yeah, I, Uhm, remember you..."

Tsumugi then came back with a bag filled with clothes. "Done!" she said.

"That quick?" Rantaro asked.

"They don't call me Ultimate Cosplayer for nothing!" she dropped her bag and went to hold Kokichi. "You wanna try your clothes? Well, you probably don't wanna get dressed by someone as plain as me, hehe." Kokichi was confused at her statement and shook his head.

"You not pwain! You beautiful!" he told Tsumugi. Tsumugi was shocked, to say the least. She processed everything before tears were falling from her face, "N-No one said that to m-me before."

Kokichi was shocked and hugged her.

"D-Did I make you swad?" he said in a sad tone. Tsumugi shook her head.

"N-No, I'm happy! Th-Thank you." Kokichi was taken aback before smiling.

"Yay! I made someone happy!"

Everyone was watching the scene unfold, a few tears also falling.

Rantaro wiped them away, "T-This is *sniff* too cute, help-"

Kaede also wiped her tears, "Where's the tissues? I'm gonna cry-"

Tsumugi chuckled before heading out.

"If anyone needs me, I'll be at my dorm!"

While they were gone, Kirumi suggested a schedule to take care of the baby.

While making a schedule, Maki had a lot of things in her mind.

Maki's Point of View

Ah shit, they all think I'm the ultimate child caregiver. I'll need to take care of him as to not be suspicious.

Maki sighed.

Damn it all.

Maki then remembered something that Kokichi said earlier.

What does he mean by orphanage? Did I know him? He was... an orphan...
