From The Prettiest Flower

Chapter 6: FROINLAYVEN!

     After hearing that dreaded word, all three Warners ended up screaming out of fear and they began running.  This startled everyone else and the Goodfeathers immediately flew over to the princes and princess, with everyone else catching up to them.
Bobby asked,
"Yo, what happened?!"
The rest of the travelers were frantic, trying to figure out what was wrong with their rulers.
"You don't understand!" Yakko yelled, keeping his siblings close.
"You couldn't understand!"
"It's too horrible!"
"Well, we won't know what's so bad if you won't tell us!" Slappy said, trying to understand.
"Yeah, it'll be okay!" Minerva tried reasoning with them.
"No, we couldn't-" Before Dot could finish, something flew out of the forest.
"What the HE-" Pesto screamed, before being hit by the mysterious projectile. It was a tranquilizer dart! Pesto sank to the ground, where Bobby and Squit flew down to his aid.
"Pesto!!" They yelled.
"GRAB THE BIRD!! LET'S GET OUT OF HERE!!" Slappy yelled, snatching Skippy by the wrist.

     The travelers made a mad dash through the forest, trying to escape the thousands of darts that were flying their way.
As they continued running, Minerva felt something hit her tail.  When she stopped to see what it was, she said,
"Oh no..."
And she collapsed on the floor, just like Pesto.  She got hit by a dart too.  Everyone stopped and Yakko shouted,
"MINERVA!!"
"No time!  We gotta keep runnin'!!" shouted Slappy and then they continued running. 
More darts flew and some of them hit Bobby, Squit, and Skippy.  The pigeons fell to the floor and Slappy noticed that Skippy wasn't holding her hand anymore.  She stopped and as he began to collapse, Skippy said,
"I feel sleepy..."
But before Skippy could land on the floor, Slappy quickly picked him up and ran with him.  She shouted,
"Skippy!  I got you, kiddo!"
With the Goodfeathers and Minerva Mink left behind, it was now Yakko, Wakko, Dot, and Slappy holding a sleeping Skippy in her arms.  At this point, the princes and princess were even more scared than usual.  Dot held on to Yakko and said,
"We nearly lost all of our travelers!  What are we gonna do?!  There's so many darts!!"
Yakko put his hand on his little sister's shoulder and said,
"I-I don't know.  At least we have Slappy with us-"
But as soon as he said that, he saw a dart hit Slappy.
"Why did you have to jinx it...?" said Slappy as she fell asleep and fell down to the ground.
Dot ran to the unconscious squirrels and shouted,
"SLAPPY!  SKIPPY!"
"Baby sister!!  We have to keep running-OW!"
Wakko then felt something hit him and he immediately knew what it was as soon as he began feeling sleepy.
"WAKKO!!" shouted Yakko and Dot, with fear in their eyes. 
Wakko collapsed and Yakko ran over to him.  He carried him and said,
"I got you, baby bro..."
Yakko ran with Wakko in his arms and Dot followed, now holding onto the journal as tightly as she could.
"I don't know how much longer I can run-!" said Dot.
"Don't worry sis, we just gotta keep running!"
As the siblings ran, a dart suddenly hit the princess.  She shouted,
"YIPE!  I got hit-!"
She then collapsed on the floor as she fell asleep.  She also dropped her journal as well.  Yakko saw this, got shocked, and he immediately ran to her while gently setting down Wakko.  He put his arms around his little siblings and said,
"DOT!  WAKKO!!"
He held on tightly to his siblings as they slept peacefully.  He picked up the journal and he placed it in Dot's arms.  Even though he knew that they were only asleep, he teared up a little as he just wanted them to be safe.  He whispered to them,
"It's gonna be ok...you're safe with me..."
As he hugged them both, he suddenly felt something hit him.  He began feeling sleepy and he said,
"And they got me..."
He then collapsed onto the ground while still hugging his little siblings.  A figure then walked up to the sleeping royals and then said,
"Froinlayven, I got the puppy children too."

     Sometime later, Yakko woke up and he realized that he was not only in a strange looking hut, but he was tied up as well.  He also saw his siblings tied up as well.  In fact, every traveler was there.  The Goodfeathers were tied up together, Minerva was tied up, Slappy and Skippy were tied up together, and of course, the Warners were tied up as well.  Each group were tied up on sticks and a fire was being prepared, specifically for the Goodfeathers.  Yakko, relieved to see his siblings awake again, said to his siblings,
"I can't believe we all got captured by...HIM"
Slappy then spoke up and said,
"Ok, now that we're awake, mind explanin' to us why we have to be afraid, aside from getting tranquilizer??"
Dot breathed in and said,
"Ok, ok.  We'll tell you.  It's because he's a bad singer and the way he talks is SO WEIRD!"
Squit spoke up and said,
"Um, your highness?  How is talkin' weird considered scary?"
Just then, the figure that got the traveling party showed up, but this time everyone could see him.  It was none other than Mr. Director!  And the Warners looked absolutely terrified as they were tied up this time, so they couldn't run.  But something looked a little off about him.  His black hair was messier than usual and his blue suit was ripped up a little.  So, he was even crazier than he usually was.
The siblings looked at each other and gulped nervously.
