The next morning, the sun rises beautifully in the sky and it shines brightly in the forest.  The travelling party was sleeping peacefully after that intense encounter with the mountain lion the previous night.  Minerva was the first to wake up.  She fluffed her hair and tail a bit before going to a nearby stream to wake herself up even more.  After splashing some water on her face, she walked back to where the rest of the party was.  At that point, everyone else was starting to wake up.
"Good morning everyone.  Glad you're all waking up now"
Yakko rubbed his eyes and said,
"Oh boy...what a night last night..."
Wakko got up and said,
"You could say that again, big brother..."
When Dot woke up, she said,
"You suppose we should go back to the camp we made before that cat got us so we could get some items left behind?"
"Well, alright.  One of those pigeons beat up that ol' mountain lion anyways, and I left behind my walnut supply I had for me and Skippy" said Slappy.
"Alright, let's go back to camp, then we continue our journey!" shouted Dot.
Once everyone was fully awake, they began heading back to where they originally set up camp.

Meanwhile, with Pinky and Brain, the latter was already up, making another hypothesis.  As for Pinky, he was still fast asleep.  Brain then said,
"Alright, Pinky.  I believe I have finalized my hypothesis for the connection between the Root Control 1000 and these plants that keep on growing"
"Ah, Pharfignewton..." replied Pinky, who was sleep talking a bit.
"Wake up, Pinky!!"
"NARF!" said Pinky as he woke up.  He looked around for a bit and then saw Brain.
"Oh, good morning, Brain!  Lovely day, isn't it?  Troz!"
"Anyways, here's my hypothesis: I originally invented this machine to have control of these magical plants and vines.  Yet, somehow the machine keeps on pulsing and causing things on its own.  I was up all night to see if there was anything wrong with the machine.  But alas, everything is functioning perfectly.  Knowing this, I went back to the drawing board and I remembered one key detail: the pulsing occurred the further down we go through these woods."
Pinky was amazed by how smart Brain sounded despite apparently not getting any sleep.
"What could this mean, Brain?" he asked.
"It's quite simple, Pinky" replied Brain.
"It means that the Root Control 1000 is acting like a magnet of some sort.  This must mean we're going in the right direction.  As if there's a source that it's following.  Come Pinky.  Let's continue travelling and monitoring this machine."
"Rightio, Brain!  Poit!" said Pinky, saluting Brain in the process.

Brain then began walking while pulling the rope that's tied around the machine.  And Pinky followed Brain while singing to himself again.
"United States, Canada, Mexico, Panama, Heidi, Jamaica, Peru!  Republic Dominican, Cuba, Caribbean, Greenland, El Salvador too!" sang Pinky as he skipped along.  Brain then interrupted with,
"As impressed as I am with this song, Pinky, what did I say about singing out loud?"
"Oh, sorry about that, Brain!  Zort!"
After about an hour, the mice were almost out of the woods when all of a sudden, the Root Control 1000 began shining.  Brain stopped and observed the machine.  Brain signaled for Pinky to come over while saying,
"Pinky!  Take a look at this!"
Pinky ran over to Brain and he was amazed by how brightly the machine was shining.
"Narf...I've seen it shine before, but not this brightly!"
"Exactly.  It looks like we're getting quite close to whatever this source could be.  Let's keep on moving!"
The mice began to run towards where the pulse was going.

Then, all of a sudden, Brain felt a rumble and he stopped.  Pinky stopped as well and asked,
"Wait, what's going on, Brain..?"
"Shh!  Quiet, Pinky"
"But the source-"
"Don't make me have to hurt you"
"Ok, ok!  Poit!"
Brain looked around carefully, wondering where the rumbling came from.  Better yet, he was wondering what exactly CAUSED the rumbling.  Meanwhile, Pinky was starting to get a little scared.  Everything was awfully quiet for a moment. But then, the silence was interrupted when the rumbling came back.  But this time it was getting a little louder.  Pinky was now starting to get really scared.
"Narf...sh-should we start running?" asked Pinky.
Right after he said that, vines suddenly began sprouting from the ground!  This startled both mice and Brain shouted,
"Yes, Pinky.  Let's go!"
The mice began running as vines kept on sprouting and growing.  They looked exactly like the vines that had grown in Warnerstock.  And just like in there, some of these vines were sprouting little flowers too.  No matter how fast the two mice ran, the vines eventually blocked their way and they had no idea where they were going.
"This is...inconvenient." said Brain.
Pinky, who had calmed down, replied with,
"Don't worry, Brain!  At least I can make more pretty flower crowns!  Narf!"
Brain sighed out of annoyance as Pinky began picking some flowers from the vines.
