Entangled (Yuta x Reader)

2. Friends

(Y/N)'s pov:

We entered into one of the empty classrooms, which was a secret spot for us, where we usually spend some time chatting.

I noticed few other students had gathered there too and there were only three empty chairs left. The rest of the chairs were piled up in the corner of the classroom and it somehow looked like it was a store room.

Alex, Ray and I went running towards the three chairs to claim them ours. Elena still standing at the same spot, glared at us before raising her index finger. She pointed it towards the pile of chairs and suddenly one of it came moving towards our direction.

"Well now I'm sure I have this power" said Elena as she took her seat. The other people in the room saw her using her power too and they were quite shocked.

I dragged my chair towards her and said cheekily "Can you get me a coffee?"

She turned to me with an 'Are-you-serious' look and stated "Can you get away from me?"

I gave her a death glare before moving away from her. Alex excused himself and left to talk with the other people in the room.

"So..." Ray, who had been staring at me for quite some time said, "Will you at least try to know what power you have?"

"I said I don't have any" I stated blankly.

"That's not gonna work with me." she said, now sounding serious. "You have to try and test it."

"Alright I'll... I just need sometime." I said before turning and looking at Alex and the other people.

Surprisingly, I found the same guy seated there, who I had bumped into the previous day. I still couldn't get over the fact that it was his voice I had heard. It was juts my imagination maybe. He seemed different, as it was the first time I saw him smiling and talking to others. Seems like he made friends. I thought. I then turned around to look at them. A lot of friends.

"His name is Yuta Nakamoto. He moves with lightning speed and resources say that he was found to be a Shape-shifter. He is usually cold to others but gets along well with his friends." Elena sounded like she was giving information that I had searched for in Google.

"When did you change into Alex? It's usually him giving out unnecessary information." I said whilst laughing along with Ray.

"He gave me this information "said Elena and looked at me." I thought you were interested in it"she said smirking.

"I was what?" I asked.

"You know... Interested." she said looking away and hiding the small smirk forming on her lips.

"Whatever... I'll go grab some coffee." I told them and walked out of the room. Yuta Nakamoto. A shape-shifter? I thought he was telepathic. Then that confirms that the voice I heard was just my imagination. Wierd.....I thought.

Almost a week had passed. I was still unaware of my powers. Elena had flying as her second ability. Many students had found theirs, but few remained like me. That made me happy as I had some company.

I had made quite a lot of friends in the past few days. That made me kept going. They always cheered me up. I smiled at the thought and made my way to the cafeteria.

I grabbed some bacon and rice and was about to leave until someone placed few vegetables on my plate. I turned around to look him grinning "They are good for health" he said.

I couldn't help but smile. Taeyong was very kind and friendly. We somehow became good friends as days passed by and he understood how I felt. "Wanna sit with us?" he asked.

"Us?" I enquired. It was usually me sitting with my friends but I couldn't turn him down.

"My friends.. Come along." he said as he walked past few tables. I followed him to the corner to find Alex, Ray and Elena already seated with his friends. As for his friends I knew most of them but I hadn't spoke to everyone.

"Alex made us sit here." said Ray looking towards Elena for help. "We were searching for you" continued Elena.

"I never complained" I said as I sat beside Alex, who grinned at me, Taeyong taking the seat opposite to him. I looked up to find Yuta seated opposite to me and gave him a small smile. Unexpectedly he returned it and went back to eating.

"Jaehyun here has something to tell us." said Taeil. "He found out his power" he continued eyeing the younger one.

"Oh well.... Yeah..... It's strength." he said, his smile showing that he was quite proud of himself. "I'm quite powerful. I can even remove that large tree in the ground but I haven't tried it yet" he chuckled.

Thats cool. I wish life was in any way better for me. But no. I saw a pair of feet near our table and I looked up. Stacy. We aren't in good terms. I couldn't understand why she loathed me. She would give me disgusted looks and stares all the time. And now she was here, to ruin my mood again.

"Have you found out at least one of your powers?" she taunted while leaning on the table. By now everyone were looking at her. From the corner of my eye, I noticed Yuta looking at me. He probably felt sad for me for not having found my power even after a week.

"Not yet.....But if I do, I'll make sure to use it on you first" I said while taking a bite. Everyone tried to control their laughter. She scoffed.

"Anyone who found their powers too early are considered to be cowards." said Alex, with a mouthful of rice. I looked at him confused. He was the first person here to find his powers. Why would he say that?

"And what does that make you? Huh?" she hit back. Of course Stacy knew about him.

Alex gulped down his food and leaned on his chair, crossing his arms. "Your Master." he said with a huge smirk. Everyone had burst out in laughter by now. I couldn't help but look down to hide my face turning red from laughing.

She stomped and left immediately. I gave Alex a fist bump, that's my way of thanking.
