NAYEON'S POV

I arrived at Jeju Island yesterday morning and I just spent the rest of the day resting due to jet lag. Today, I will be heading towards the actual land and meet my mom there. I took a bath and immediately left the house.

"Mom" I called as I arrived at the place. It was a very beautiful place, no, I can say it is part of a forest since there were tall trees towering over us. As much as possible, I don't want to cut these trees but I couldn't reason out to my mom.

"Is it okay to cut these trees, mom? wouldn't it count as illegal logging?"

"Unless you cut the trees prior to owning the land" A woman in a well-pressed suit interjected

*A/N : I could not see the specific name of this law but it is true and is practiced in the west. You can only cut down trees in lands that you own*

"There honey, you got the answer. By the way, this is lawyer Yoo. I hired her to check on the important details concerning this land and she will be my lawyer to process the contract if ever we settled a deal" the lawyer offered a handshake so I took it.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Ms. Im. I'll be at you and Mrs. Im's service" For a woman who has a professional job, she's very formal. 'That's quite attractive though' I thought and squealed inside as I thought of someone who will definitely contradict her personality

After discussing the legality of the current owner of the land, my mom, together with Ms. Yoo and I, roamed the whole place. It's approximately 1,500 square meters and the view is very pleasing. Beyond the trees is a stream that still has a very active water flowing to I-don't-know-where. The source of the water though seems to be coming from somewhere in the mountains.

"I love this place already" I said and took in the cool breeze and fresh ambience of the place.

"You heard her attorney, now let's do the paper works" I was a bit surprised by my mom but just smiled at her as a sign that I totally agree.

The next day, my mom shook me to consciousness

"Come on dear, we have an appointment with an architect and her engineers later at 7"

I did not protest and proceed to do my morning routine.

"Hello, are you the architect?" My mom asked a girl.

I tilted my head in curiosity, 'really mom?, This person looks like a teenager. Why would you assume that she's an architect'

"Yes ma'am, I am Son Chaeyoung. I assume you are Mrs. Im, and this is your daughter?" she asked

"What?! You are actually the architect?" I asked in disbelief

"Yes I am, is there any problem ma'am?"

"No...I just thought you're too small for your age" I answered while the latter part was barely heard by anyone

"Don't mind her, anyway that's right I am Mrs.Im, I'm very sorry that you have to personally come here, we're not just knowledgeable enough about these kind of things so we thought if you personally see the area, you can propose possible designs for the rest house"

"It's nice to walk out of my four-cornered room once in a while. Excuse me, let me just call the engineers"

"sure"

We waited for a bit as she finished contacting the engineers. I still can't get over how beautiful this place is.

"Mrs, and Ms. Im, these are the engineers who will be working with us...please introduce yourselves" I looked at Ms. Son as she gestured her hand as if she was presenting something in front-Why is Chou Tzuyu here?
