Melanie's POV
I woke up suddenly to thunder and lighting last night, I looked up at Maddix she really is scared if storms, her parents died from one, they were on a plane going to Orlando for a business trip and Maddix was 2 at the time at home with a babysitter, and the plane got struck by lighting and crash landed into the Ocean everyone on that plane died.Ever since she's been scared of storms,I made my way over to Maddix and held her tightly while she was sobbing on my side.
"It's alright Maddix, I'm here." She nodded.
****in the morning****
I woke up with Maddix on my side, I really want her to talk I need her to its not normal she needs to talk why doEs she have to been like this, maybe I can't teach her to talk, I'll try it out today.
***few hours later after school***
Instantly when we got back to our room,Maddix sat on the floor crying taking off her sunglasses and hoodie.
Maddix's POV
When I got back to our room I threw myself onto the floor crying, I wanted to talk I wanted my family back, I want not be fat ,ugly why do I have to so fucked up it's all my fault...
"Hey Maddix" Melanie said softly I nodded
" I was wondering if you wanted to learn how to speak" I smiled and hugged her, she wanted to help me, I felt a little bit better.
" okay, so first I'm gonna loosen your vocals, make a noise from low to high, high to low" I try end it didn't work I tried again.
"aaaaAaAaaaAAAA" I smiled and she smiled too
"Good job" ok keep doing that for a few minutes I'm gonna go get your phone.
6minutes later.......
Melanie came and sat by me with my phone and opened a new app. That I wasn't sure what it was about.
"Okay, so make a hhh sound" that phone said. I did "Now make a iii sound" I did. "Now put it together say Hi" I DIDD!!! I kept saying it and saying it jumping up and down. Me and Melanie started laughing. And hugging each other.
" Great job Maddix, we will do more so either time I'm super tired" I nodded
"Hi" I said, she smiled "Hi" she replied. Soon after we drifted off to sleep.
