Rivania was once one peaceful country until one of the biggest cities started to become a bit more open minded towards the rights of their citizens. The Royal family of the city, The Hayashi's started to accord the females their rights. They were now allowed to get a much more prolonged education, learn to fight, and even have the choice whether they wanted to marry or not. The citizens of that city were also accorded to have the right to love whoever they wanted, no matter the gender.
The city of Yarisha, another large city of Rivania, rejected those propositions as soon as it reached its royal members. The Acosta's would never allow such a thing. They protested against the new laws of Rivania but things continued to change.
Thus Yarisha declared war on Rivania's largest city.
The smaller cities took their sides and then many years of civil war happened with none of them backing down. This caused the separation of the country and Yarisha along with the smaller cities who decided to stand by it became an independent country.
The wars continued for years but yet no once backed down.
It was when Aziel Acosta killed the Queen of Rivania after she gave birth to her first born son that things really got out of hand.
The death of the Queen resulted in a duel between Aziel Acosta and Akio Hayashi.
The fight was brutal and ended with both of them killing each other. There was only the Royal Family who witnessed that fight and no one spoke a word about what exactly went down and how they had managed to both die.
After the death of the kings things only went downhill as the wars started to get even more severe.
45 years later, yet another war broke out that was caused by the death of Rivanian soldiers who were protecting the border.
Mizuki Akihiko Hayashi was sent out in the field for his first time as the prince of Rivania. He vowed to protect his country no matter the cost.
He promised himself that he would destroy anyone from Yarisha who dared to harm his country, his loved ones.
