"Dad please, I don't want to." Eren begged as he tried to stop walking but his dad kept pulling him in the dark hallway of the dungeon by the tight hold on his wrist.
"You said you wanted to do more important things. That you wanted to be treated as the crown prince, right?" King Augustus sneered and Eren tried not to let the tears fall from his eyes as panic grew inside of him.
It was true that Eren was getting annoyed at always being treated as though he wasn't the crown prince. He had to do lame training sessions with one of the head trainers while Aslangot to be specially trained by his father.
He had asked his father to do more important things not realizing the timing of it all.
He just had to demand such a thing on the day that Elias Amin was to be executed.
Elias was a young fifteen year old who had been handed in to the royal guards by his own family.
His crime?
Liking men.
When Eren had heard of it his heart had dropped to his stomach and he had felt physically sick.
He couldn't believe that his own family would throw him away like this. His own family gave him away for him to be tortured and killed.
He just couldn't believe such an atrocious thing.
But the most nauseating thing of it all was when his father had given him a wicked smirk when he asked to do more important stuff and he had informed him that he would be the one to execute Elias.
He had to be one to kill him.
He had to kill a fifteen year old boy for liking someone he couldn't help but like.
Eren had begged his father not to make him do it. But here they were on their way to where Elias had been suffering for the last few weeks.
"Dad, please don't make me do this." Eren tried once again to persuade the cruel king. "I don't want to! Ask Aslan! He's strong, no? He's perfect. I-I can't do this."
"No Eren, you will do this. You're right by saying a crown prince must do more for his country. You will do us all the biggest honour by getting rid of a monster." Augustus sneered and Eren wanted to scream that Elias was not a monster but he kept his mouth shut as they stopped in front of a door.
The King pushed open the door and then he pushed Eren inside. Eren heard chains rattling, and he forced his eyes to stay on the ground.
