I asked,"So..I can't believe I haven't asked you already, but what is your name?"

Her eyes switched colors, I noticed, as she said, "Ember."

"I'm Will."

She laughed gracefully leaning her head back again saying, "Well, hello, Will. It's nice to meet you. Do you have any idea why he let you come here? I mean most others aren't lucky enough to get a choice...Or meet me."

"I don't know. He gave me instructions to bring Shiloh and Evie here, though, and I have no idea how to do that because you said only children can bring adults here."

"I could be wrong. If Teras is strong enough now, he may be able to bring others here through a special set of people. Especially if Shadow has accepted him. I am pretty sure she has. I can feel it. You know you could choose to go back if you wanted. It may not work, but it's worth the try. We really don't need Shadow to be working with him."

"Why would anyone even consider working with him...Or accepting him. He is not so easy on the eyes."

"Teras has many forms. They depend on what mood he is in. If he is angry he can turn into his true form, which is very horrific, but when he is relaxed he has a semi-human form. It is still very creepy, but if you are the Entity, you probably won't care that much. Then he has another form that drives you insane."

"What mood does he have to be in for that one? What does it look like?"

She looked down nervously as she twiddled her fingers again. She exhaled sharply and looked up at me. Her eyes were changing from blue to green to red so fast I could barely keep up with it, but then her eyes washed of any kind of color which frightened me.

She said deeply, "When he wants love. He looks like the most beautiful man in the world, but he doesn't show that form until you make it clear you want the love."

"What do you mean love?"

"He loves kissing, but he won't go any farther until his plan is in line. As you can tell his plan wasn't in line with me, so now I am stuck here with a broken heart and hatred for a monster. I have tried so hard to get back, but he rejected me. Now I have nothing but an order to bring a small child here that I am not even sure exists. I know that I will meet the kid if I go back, so I am going to stay here until we can end this."

"How long can you stay here? I mean what about your physical body?"

"I have been here since I was twenty. I am still in a coma back in the human world."

"How old are you now?"

"Twenty eight."

I am sure that my mouth dropped for a second, but I retaliated saying, "I am so sorry. I wish I could help."

"Well...you can. Just try to go back and take Shadow. Bring her here before he gives her an order, and we can work from there. He will be weaker then."

"How do I leave, and how would I get back?"

"It's not as easy as it might sound when I tell you, but you have to envision the door. Like you envisioned the door back to the hospital you are in. Remember the sounds, smells, and feelings you had when you were there, and the door might appear. If it does just dart into it, but be careful. Once you are there Teras will know, and he will try to kill you."

She hugged me and pushed me into the extreme white of this world we were in. At first I was still processing what she had said to me.

Sounds, smells, feelings. Sounds, smells, feelings.

I heard Shadow and Teras' voices, and the smell was a mixture of old wood and dirt. My feelings consisted of mainly fear and confusion. I closed my eyes, and I could see the door.
