༄ (3rd pov) ༄

The little was lurking around the zoo with his CG, both exhausted from walking back and forth between the different showcases and cages. The last animals they had met were the lions, ending off with the terrestrial animals before venturing into the sea domes. In there lay all of the different types of fish and marine life, all ranging from the tiniest of plankton to the biggest of sharks and seals. You could almost say this specific zoo had quite a lot more animals than most around the world.

Eret felt a tug on their arm, head glancing down to see fundy leading them towards the glass boxes of fish. He pointed to a specific one, smiling with excitement before turning up to face the slightly older.

"Look! It's nemu!"

Eret giggled at the shorter, kissing Fundy's forehead before flipping their hair.

"It's nemo, sugar, not nemu!"
Fundy playfully turned away from the other, letting out a quick 'i knew that' before something else caught his eye. A baby jellyfish seemed to be up against the glass of its enclosure, a few other people awhing at it before leaving the area. The brunette quickly ran to the glass, pushing his hands up against it as he stood on his tippy toes to come face to face with it.

A small smile erupted Eret's face, watching the other venture around the open room. Leaning up against one of the walls, they cleared their throat. Catching Fundy's attention, the male turned around, noticing his CG signaling it was time for the next room.

Fundy let out a small giggle, skipping over to Eret before taking their hand and leading them into the dome of penguins. A specific hole in the wall caught his eye, the space leading a tube out of the snowy living of the penguins. He awaited at the entrance of it, watching a pile of kids flee out of it before he and Eret walked into it. When you reach the end of the tube, you are placed in the dead center around the snowy environment, penguins scattered everywhere around you. This awhed Fundy, Eret smiling at him before hugging him from behind.

"Imma name that one pete- and that one tony."
Eret let out a chuckle, kissing the side of Fundy's head lightly before dragging him out of the area. There was one specific place they'd wanted to take the little. The one place that always peaked Fundy's interests and made their day 1000x better each time they would pay it a visit. The gift and candy shop.

Now, to some people this would be just another store to look around in or even just deduct time so they could go somewhere else. But with Fundy it was an adventure. Hundreds of different stuffed animals and varieties of candies, all of which he absolutely HAS to comment to Eret about.

And Eret loved that about Fundy. He was very open about his little regression. Whether if it were just another day where they stayed home, or out in public. Although, they never really understood why Fundy refused to show his regression with their friends, he still respected it and went along with wherever Fundy's excuses are when suspicion was brought upon the topic.

Eret grabbed the door handle, pulling it open so Fundy could let himself through. As the taller expected, Fundy immediately darted to the stuffed animal section, touching each one to test how soft they were and if they were comparable to be his new "cuddle buddy."

"Look! There's a monkey- OOOO there's a dolphin!"

"I see, bubble. They are very adorable."
Eret pat Fundy's head before trotting to another isle. This isle had varieties of different forest stuffed animals and kid's toys spread throughout it. Each shelf scattered with them all mixed in together.

They walked along, keeping in mind one stuffed animal they knew they'd have to get for the little. I mean, it was what the male was known for anyways. What hes presumed to look like digitally. A fox.

There it layed, with many other colors beside it. It would've been unique to get a black and white fox, but they decided to stick with the original red-orange and white coated animal. Eret snuck it behind their back, making way to find Fundy dumbfounded by how many more animals they had in compared to the last stuffed animal shop they had ever went to. Even Build-A-Bear couldn't amount to it.

"Sugar, i have a gift for you."
Eret smiled down at the brunette, watching the man eye him with a confused look, playing with one of the ears on an elephant plush he had randomly picked up.

"You have a gift for me?"

"Mhm. Close your eyes and i'll put it in your hands!"

Fundy obliged, excitingly closing his eyes and throwing his hands out from his body. A cloud-like feeling plopped itself down on his palm, making him whine from impatience as a light chuckle was heard from above.

"Go ahead and open"

The little threw his eyes open, fluttering his eyelashes at the utter most adorable thing he had ever layed eyes on. The one thing he had been looking for, and for some reason all stores were sold out of, was now laying in his hand.

"Oh my gah!"
Fundy threw it to his chest, hugging it before quickly throwing his arms around his caregiver. The other kissed his forehead, lightly patting his back.

"Okay okay, calm down little one. How about we name it and take it home with us?"

"YES! I'm gonna name it- ummmm- hmm- Fungi!"

The two let out a chuckle and a giggle, both looking down at the small stuffed animal. Eret smiled at the other, venturing their eyes to see the glee look upon their younger boyfriend's face. This particular look would never get old to them, always happy to see Fundy overwhelmed and upright about stuffed animals.

"That's a perfect name, sugar. Now let's take Fungi home."
