My eyes were glued to the glowing screen of my phone as it ringed continuously on Brianna's number. It was almost dark and there was no news of Brianna or Summer and if they're back yet.

I anxiously bit my nails as my eyes darted towards the window of the small room as it rattled furiously due to the strong winds blowing outside - afraid it'll crack any minute now. The room was in eerie silence with just the sound of me breathing filling the air.

A chill ran down my spine as I pulled the soft duvet over my chest, clenching it closer to my face - in an attempt to calm down.

The fact that I was afraid would be an understatement.

This kind of weather always scared the shit out of me and being alone in a room with an injured leg was a cherry on top.

Suddenly the door of the room creaked open - making me jump in surprise as I turned to see Mr. Harrison standing on the doorframe with a small smile.

"How do you feel boy?" He asked walking in towards the bed I was resting on.

I gave him a lipped smile and nodded, "Better."

Not.

"Good, your dad called to inform you he'll be picking you up tomorrow, because of that," He said, pointing to my leg and I sighed.

I knew I couldn't go on the bus with the whole class, it's sad as now I'll miss a chance to defeat Ethan in scrabbles all because of this stupid leg. Darn it.

"And, you'll have to share the room with others for the night - the cabin is not that big to accommodate all the students." He smiled and walked out before I could reply to him.

Now I'll be surrounded by a group of sweaty, horny teenagers who'll do dumb stuff and laugh over anything or everything.

Yay.

I took in a deep breath and glanced at my phone once again in the hope to see any update from Summer or Bri.

Getting bored I swiped through Instagram. After skipping endless useless videos and pictures uploaded of this trip, my eyes stumbled upon something... Or someone.

I never knew Ethan was on my following list too. It was a carousel post uploaded today, having multiple photos of him with his friends. I kept swiping right until the last photo surfaced of him, Alone. In the snap, he was smiling widely, his head tilted while his eyes were staring directly into the camera.

His hair was damp and messy while little beads of droplets covered his light caramel skin, maybe he just took a bath or perhaps a run? His white button-up shirt was unbuttoned on the top and was slightly moist too - sticking to the well-defined structure of his chest.
