The pep rally is today and I am nervous.
"Remember do your best. The WHOLE school is watching," Ms. Mendez says which was bad pep talk. I don't wanna embarrass myself. All 3 grades, the staff and the paper are watching. I gulped down my own saliva as I am being introduced. They mixed up the grades and the students chosen are gonna be going against the staff who are mostly male.
The staff have the lead by 4 points and I made contact with some of my formal teammates. They nodded and understood what play we are gonna play. I am guarding one if our gym teachers and I try to mess with him. I saw that he's weak in his left side and I took advantage of that and I stole the ball. I overhead passed the ball to my team captain and ran to make a layup but missed I go for the rebound and pass it back since someone is defending me. My teammate passes it back and before the buzzer buzzed I made a 3 point shot. The crowd goes wild.
They calmed down when the half time show came. The cheerleaders were up and they were fantastic. Now I am up and I switched my keyboard on. I gave a thumbs up to Luke who's also ready. I start to let my fingers press down and glide on the black and white keys. As I play Luke starts to strum and sing.
My head is stuck in the clouds

"Sam," he faces Samantha. "Would you go to prom with me?" Sam stands up and goes down the bleachers. She walks up to him and smiles.
"Of course!" Luke grins widely and mouths 'thanks' in my direction while I just smile.

Another performance came and I saw Nikki setting up something and Luke tuning his guitar. I went back to the bleachers and Nikki finishes as video is about to get played. As I watched I soon realize it might be a mini movie.

A 14 year old girl is walking down a hallway with a dollar in her hand. She walks up to a vending machine inserting the dollar bill in the dispenser. She types the code and nothing happens and she presses the eject button a couple of times before turning a around. When she did she saw a slightly taller girl waiting paitently. She asked for her help and she agrees. She did the almost exact thing except it was a different code that glitches and out came 4 bags of chips. The other girl hands her one and walks away smiling and being mysterious she left with just a silent wave. The following day came and this time the other girl was in trouble. Getting beat up by bullies the girl helped the injured girl to the nurse. Later in the film they start to become good friends the other girl was goofy and weird a lot while the girl just had to deal with it because she likes her. The film ends when the girl wanted to ask her friend a question.

Soon the lights back on and we heard music again from Luke's direction. He starts to play a song and Lexie comes in and starts to sing it.

When I finished the song a loud cheers rose up. Now for the finish and I really hope she says yes.
"Um this may seem that's I'm copying Luke but I thought about this first," I awkwardly say to the mic. "Anyways I would like to ask something important to a great friend of mine."
I wait a bit and cleared my throat,"Kylie will you go to prom with me?" I look over to her and I could tell she wasn't expecting this.

I could tell she was badly hurt and I ran after her trying to find her. I heard sobs passing the bathroom and I knew it was her. I knock on the door and she came out and I hugged her ignoring the tears that fall on my shoulder.

The game is a tight one and we loosing and then winning and we are loosing once again. At the last quarter we were just loosing by a point. Luckily one of our teammates got fouled. We have a chance to win.
"YEAH!!!" The crowd goes wild and for the first time in 13 years the students won.
My cheerful state was suddenly changed when I remembered Lexie. Did I actually lead her on like that?

Unfortunately, the news travels fast as always and the newspaper has headlines about the events the front page consist of Kylie's dates. William's interview with the girls didn't help with Kylie's dilemma. What will happen next? Will Kylie just forget about prom? Will she cancel out on both dates? Am I really this hungry? I should go eat my lunch now.
