"Hey Kai," Aden says making me lift my head up.

"Hi."

"Where's Kendall?"

"Getting some punch," I say pointing to her direction.

"Well I am gonna be hanging out with the YouTubers."

"Okay have fun."

"See yah." He waves just as Kendall comes back handing me a cup of fruit punch.

"So I heard there will be an afterparty at Trevor's," she says. "Wanna get out of this place? It's so boring here."

"Nah, I'm kinda tired and-"

"Look I get it. You're not there yet. Listen I gotta go...I'll see you around." Just like that she got up and hugged me. When we pulled away she kissed me on the cheek and I watch her leave but she looks back at me and ran back. Oh she must've left something. I start to help her look but before I know it, her lips met mine once again. I pulled back and shook my head.

"I'm sorry I lead you on," I say and she starts to laugh.

"Where was that about 2 months ago," she jokes giving me a nudge.

"Thanks for the experience I had fun," She turns back and exits the building. She gets in her car and waves driving away. I look away from the window and see what else I can do here. I saw Lexie with her head down and she looks very down.

I walk over to her table and tap her. She looks up and smiles a little.

"Hey, aren't you supposed to be with your date," I ask and her smile fades as she sighs.

"My date Matt...well let's just say he's talking to the other girls having a great time."

"Oh I see," I say.

"So where's Kendall?"

"Oh she...um left."

"How come?"

"It's boring here and she told me she got back with her ex."

"So...the two of us got dumped on prom night," she laughs and I join her.

"Pretty much yeah."

Come on say something! She is obviously free and there's your chance to get to know her or probably ask her out.

Just on cue, slow music starts to play and Kylie looks over to me with her hand out.

"Wanna dance?" She asked with a small smile plastered on her beautiful face.

"Haha again?"

"Sure why not?"

"Then what are you waiting for?"

"I don't know probably I'm waiting for you to move your feet to the direction of the dance floor." I laughed a little and complied to her request. We basically did what we did a while ago. As we dance she looked deeply into my eyes and vise versa. She smiles as she looks down. I notice she does that a lot when she's blushing. When she looks up and if you look closely you can see a light shade of pink covering her cheeks. I got to tell you, it's adorable.

"You didn't tell me that you can waltz," I say at the end of the song.

"Honestly,I just learned today at this very dance floor," she says shamelessly.

"Your honesty make you look so dorky," I say making her look offended.

"What's wrong with my dorky self?"
