Eventually the food appeared on the table. Elegant desserts, savouries, vegetables, fruit, breakfasts and a lot more. Everyone on the Slytherin table were picking out the cereals and basic breakfasts but you went for the fruit and toast. Draco decided to not eat anything and just watch you. He was just staring into space and then looking at you, admiring your face.
"Are you going to eat Draco?" You sighed
"Um no I'm not hungry." He replied
"But you said you wanted food?"
He gave you a 'well' look and you realised "Okay well please actually eat something today? It isn't healthy to not eat!"
"I know. Like I said, I'm not hungry!"
"Oh okay. Sorry." You said whilst stuffing your face with toast.
After you finished eating Blaise and Pansy came down and sat near you and Draco.
"Hey y/n I'm not feeling too good so I'm going to lay in bed for the rest of the day."
"Do you want me to come with you?" You asked politely.
"No it's okay. I'll be fine." He got up and slowly walked to the dungeons whilst rubbing his head.
"I'll go see him in a bit." You said to Pansy and Blaise.
"BUT. First let me just ask one question.. when are you two getting together?"
"Uh- excuse me?" Pansy stuttered
"It's so obvious that you like each other. Well I'm going to go check on Draco now so I expect to see you both holding hands when I'm back down!" You yelled
"Y/N! Stop." Blaise laughed
"You know I'm right!" You shouted at the entrance of the Great Hall.
You strolled towards the dungeons to go find Draco. He wanted to be alone, you could tell from earlier so you tried to check on him without him knowing. You looked around the corners and you could see him, laid on his bed looking at the ceiling. You tried to get a closer look by going around another corner and you bumped into him.
"Oh god- Draco hey- are you okay?" You said whilst trying to play it off.
"Y/n really? I'm not thick. I knew you were here." He laughed
"But.. how when-"
"When your steps make that much noise."
"What?!"
"Shh. You're so bad at playing things off."
"To say you've had loads of practice you're not very good at faking being ill are you Draco?" You smirked
"Excuse me? I've never done that."
"Mhm sure."
"You've known me for less than a year. How would you know?"
"Draco. I'm smart. Nobody and I mean NOBODY goes for a jog when they're I'll!"
"What- you saw me?! I mean.. no I didn't I was in my bed all day!" He stuttered
"Okay. Do you have a twin maybe it was him? Sorry I guess you're Ill then. MAYBE ILL JUST GO AND HAVE A PARTY WHILST EVERYONE ELSE IS IN LESSON!" You shouted sarcastically
"Huh.. YOU KNOW?!"
"YES I KNOW. I SAW YOU."
"Oh shi-"
"Language Draco oh my god!"
"Are you being serious?"
"No now don't say I have loud steps when you make it THAT obvious you're not Ill."
He looked to the floor and chucked. You smiled at him and then he replied to you whilst whining a little bit.
"Sorry not sorry but I have to go do something for the dark lord." He blurted
"I'll come with you."
"No! Stay here. You'll end up getting killed."
"Please Draco. I'll help you."
"No y/n! I'm sorry but I can't have you getting killed, not yet."
"Not yet?! What's that supposed to mean?!" You said quickly
"I don't want you to die until I'm dead."
"Oh- sorry."
"It's fine princess, I need to go." He said before kissing you on the cheek and speeding out the door.
