"Alex hurry up and come down for lunch!" Her mother's voice shook Alexandra out of her shocked state. The wide grin never leaving her face as she ran out her bedroom door. A few creaks were heard as Alexandra practically ran down the stairs like a raving madwoman, excitement and happiness were the only emotions she felt at the moment.
She ran into the kitchen to see not only her mom placing a plate of piping hot waffles and three plates of omelette and bacon on the kitchen counter, but also her teenage sister helping her out as well. Standing at 5'5, Alexandra's sister, Eleanor Freeman, is 17 years of age and in her senior year of highschool. Eleanor sharply resembles her sister and her mother with oceanic blue eyes, fair skin, full blush pink lips and a curvy, fit body. The only thing that was different was her thick, wavy blonde hair, which she took from her dad.
Eleanor is a kind hearted badass, just like her older sister, who always puts family first. Eleanor attended a public school called Hope District Academy. The school taught fairly well and the fees wasn't that much so it saved money which they didn't have much of. The Freeman family are what you call a middle classed family, they're not rich people but they aren't too poor either. Alexandra and Eleanor's father, Andrew Freeman, was the only working member of the Freeman family. With a job as a driver for a very wealthy lawyer in Los Angeles, his pay wasn't all that much. While Alexandra and Eleanor's mother, Rhonda Freeman, was a housewife with the occasional babysitting jobs she did once in a while. So ultimately, the Freeman family survived on Andrew's salary alone.
But Alexandra desperately wanted to change all of that. She wanted to give her family a much better life. And she was going to do it the best way she knew how to. And nothing was going to stop her.
"Mom! Ellie!" Alexandra exclaimed with excitement, as she rushed into the kitchen. Startled, Rhonda and Eleanor looked up to see Alexandra grinning from ear to ear like a Cashmere cat.
"Alex? What is it?" Rhonda asked in confusion and slight concern as she walked towards her daughter, with Eleanor closely behind her. Also confused about what suddenly came over her sister.
"You know what mom, just read it for yourself." Alexandra said, as she looked through her phone for a minute and handed it to Rhonda. Rhonda looked at her with raised eyebrows for a moment before reading the email. Rhonda had the exact same expression Alexandra had when she first read the email, as she covered her mouth with her hand to stop a scream of joy from escaping. She looked between Alexandra and her phone a few times before pulling her into a tight hug.
"What is it?" Eleanor questioned, before taking the phone from Rhonda and reading through the email as well. By the time she finished reading it, she couldn't help but let out a high pitched squeal. As soon as Rhonda let go of her sister, Eleanor pulled her in for another hug.
"Oh my God, congratulations Alex. I knew you would get accepted." Rhonda said with a big smile, as she placed a kiss on her daughter's forehead.
"I knew you would get in Sis." Eleanor said, with a soft smile as she hugged her sister once again. Rhonda and Eleanor had always known about Alexandra's dream to become a wrestler, especially Rhonda. Although at first she was kind of against it because she knew the injuries that came with being a professional wrestler, she hated to see her daughter get hurt. But as the years went by, as Alexandra grew up and as her passion for wrestling got stronger she just couldn't oppose it anymore. She wanted Alexandra to follow her dreams. She knew just how much Alexandra loves wrestling, she knew just how much it meant to her. And so, the only thing she had to do as a mother was support her daughter no matter what. The rest was up to Alexandra to accomplish.
Eleanor had always thought that her sister's dream of becoming a professional wrestler was actually kind of cool. In fact, she also had a secret desire to follow in her sister's footsteps and also become a wrestler. But for that, she would have to finish school first. According to her mother though.
