Holiday Cheer!

Foggy's POV

Matt was asleep with his head on his desk. I looked at Karen and she nodded trying her hardest not to giggle, I looked both ways and tiptoe to were Matt's walking cane is. It was Christmas and Matt was working over time. So Karen and I decided too play a little prank on Matt, I quickly switched Matt's cane out with a big candy cane. Karen eventually left to get coffee and donuts for us. When she came back Matt had just woken up. Matt came over to us with his new cane.

"Pff, hey Matt," Karen giggled,

"What's so funny? Do I have something on my face?" Matt asked,

"No, no, heh, no Matt, nothing is on your face and nothing is funny." I said  trying not to laugh.

"Okay, is that donuts I smell?" Matt asked, I still can't believe he doesn't know that thats not his cane!

"Yes Matt, I have donuts and coffee, here." Karen said giving Matt his donut and coffee.

Thank you, do we have any new cases for today?"

"Nope, so far we have nothing for today." I replied,

"Okay, I'll be in my office then." Matt smiled, he really has no idea does he.

Matt's POV

Foggy thinks I have no idea that he replaced my cane but I do, and hey, whats the fun in telling him anyway, right? So I just went about my day pretty normaly. I came out of my office and asked,

"What do we want to do for lunch today?"

"Well, lunch is gonna have to wait. A Jessica Jones called and she said your her attorney."

"Yeah, where is she at?"

"The police station,"

"Okay, looks like I got my work for the day."

"I'm gonna come with you!" Foggy said,

"Me too!" Karen added. We walked to the police station, I could tell their were people trying not to laugh at me and some were just scoffing or got uncomfortable when we walked past them. Foggy and Karen snickered at me a lot of different times but also mean mugged some people being mean mugging me. When we reached the people station, not many noticed us.

"I'm Jessica Jones's attorney, where is she at?"

"Jackson! Can you take him to see Jones?"

"Yeah, come on this way."

"Um, what way? You see I'm blind."

"Oh, yeah, sorry," Officer Jackson, I think his name is, grabbed my arm and lead me to where Jessica was.

"Thank you officer," I said,

"No problem sir,"

"Jessica, what the hell did you do this time?" I asked,

"Nice cane, apparently I was too drunk to be on the streets."

"Because your a hazard to society and thank you."

"No problem, why the fucking hell am I the hazard to society?"

"Do I really need to answer that?"

"No,"

"I can get you out of here with no jall time, but you'll be on probation without trial. Sound fair?"

"No! No probation!"

"Jessica, this is the best you'll get. Any better deal and you'll have to go to trial to earn it in front of a judge and jury. They won't go easy on you."

"No, fine, I'll take the first deal."

"Good, that's all I can get you." I said, "I'll talk to the chief about our offer." After I got Jessica out of her trouble we went back to the office.

"Matt, do you seriously not have any idea that your cane got switched out for a big candy cane?" Foggy asked in disbelief.

"Foggy, I have no idea what your talking about."

"Ugh, this is why nobody ever played pranks on you in college!"

"That, and because I'm blind."
