So yes, like your typical lesbian, I had my beautiful best friend who was straight. Her name was Lacy. We had so much in common and laughed a LOT when together. After we started becoming best friends, I started to notice all the good things in her and I liked them. And I didn't realize my crush until I even started liking the bad things. Slowly and surely I began to fall; fall hard for the black and blue-stripe haired beauty I called my best friend. We both participated in the same play in October; a murder mystery. She wore this green dress that fit her curves just right and the way she did her hair with a fake British accent, it was stunning and had me speechless many times that night. Eventually, I got up the nerves to tell her in one of our Biology class note passing sessions because I had to know how she felt. While nervous as a tween on their first date, I awaited her write back. After what seemed like an eternity, I felt the paper slide back onto my side of the desk with a clearly written note that my crush was oh so obvious, but as I had already known, she only liked boys. I sadly let this soak in, and remembered I too, had once said I was straight.
