Chapter 2 Girls night out

After an eventful day at work Emma had finally got to her parents who were both sitting in the living room. Ever since baby Neal was born snow and charming decided to get a bigger place for when Neal gets older.

Snow shoots up when she sees Emma walk in the door and runs over to her and throws her arms around Emma's neck. Emma hugs her back but says "ok hello mum as much as I would love a hug right now, I am really tired and would love to just go to bed as Regina has made my day hell."

Emma sighs and starts to walk up the stairs but as she gets midway up the stairs she hears her mum shout up "Ems would you like me to bring you up a glass of hot chocolate with cream and cinnamon on top"

Emma spins round and smiles to her mum and replies "yes mum thank you."

Emma finally makes it to her room and falls down on her bed looking up at the ceiling and pulls her phone out of her back pocket and turns it on to find 5 unread messages, 6 miss calls and 3 voice messages. Emma sighs and opens the messages which are funny enough all from Killian.

Messages one

'Hey babe I'm not sure how this texting thing works but hey I think I'm getting it right'

Emma laughs and continues reading.

'I'm sorry for this morning I thought I would let you sleep in for a bit as you fell asleep on me after crying. I was meant to wake you up but got distracted when I was talking to Henry about what parts of the boat he needs to remember'

Emma continues to read the other four messages which all said the same just with different words. Emma started to feel bad about the way she reacted but thought it would be best to talk to him in the morning.

Whilst Emma was deep in thoughts, she didn't notice her mum had sat down next to her on the bed drinking her coffee.

Emma jumps out of her thoughts when she hears snow say "hey Ems I know you probably don't feel up to it due to what happened between you and Killian and everything with Regina, but I was thinking we haven't had a girls night in ages and was wondering if you would like to hit the bars with the girls and me"

Emma shakes her head no then says "to be honest mum I'm not really in the mood I don't want to see Regina right now after she almost fired me today"

Snow looked away then back at Emma and said "we'll ..." but before she could finish her sentence there was a knock at the door and when David answered the door Emma could hear Zelana shout "come on Emma this will be fun just the girls getting completely wasted". They all come barging into Emma's room.

Emma darts a look at her mum with an angry look on her face but brushes it off and huffs "Well by the looks of it I have no choice. So you all might as well meet me downstairs so I can get ready".

Everyone leaves and she closes the door shut behind them and huffs again and says to herself 'thanks mum thanks for asking if I want to go but then calls everyone before hand'.

Emma looks in her closet to find something somewhat nice to wear but when she looks inside she remembers all her clothes are at her place and all she here are a few red jackets and tracksuits bottoms.

She closes the doors to the closet and says to herself 'well this will have to do.' She eventually makes it down stairs and everyone turns to her.

Zelena shakes her head at Emma and says "really Emma we are going to the bar not to the old people home to watch movies and eat popcorn." Emma looks down then back to Zelena "why what's wrong I love what I'm wearing."

Zelena laughs and flicks her hand in the air as she does that a puff of green smoke surrounds Emma who starts to cough, eventually the smoke starts to clear around Emma leaving Emma standing in front of everyone in a red dress which causes everyone to stand in shock.
