Chapter 12: "I Really Liked You"

{2 years ago}

"Oi, Ki-chin. Why do you always do anything for Aominechin?"

"Eh!?! What are you saying Aki?!!?" I said while I was astonished by the of question of Murasakibara that I dropped the ball I was cleaning. "You must be imagining things." I said as I grabbed the ball I dropped.  "Really? Then will you bake me cookies again?" he asked as he got the ball ahead of me.

*sigh*

"Fine. As long as you stop asking those questions again." I said and tried to get the ball from him. "Hai!" he says as he keeps the ball away from me and teases me of my height. "Mou! Give me the ball already Aki!"

{Present}

"Oi Ryouka! Quit standing there and prepare the snacks!" the coach said as I returned to myself. "H-hai!" I said as I ran off to the kitchen. The basketball team are having a week practice outside of the school and staying at a reserved house for Kaijou.

*sigh*

"Hang in there Youka-chan!" Tenma-senpai shouted as she gives me a slap in the back. 

{Moments later}

"Ano ne, senpai?" I called to her as we ate the watermelon we just opened. "Is it true that this place is haunted?" I asked as she turned her face with a grin. "Youka-chan is scared of ghost?" she said and teased me about it. "N-nothing much..."

Tenma-senpai's grin grew and giggled to herself. "Don't worry, you'll have to believe in your senpai then." she said and slapped my back to encourage me. "H-hai..." I said with a faint smile and continued eating the watermelon.

{Meanwhile}

"Oi Kise! Run faster or else you won't have any snacks left!" as a black haired senpai shouted at the blonde who was running last of the group. "M-matte! I-i have to.. catch my breath first...." as the blonde said panting and covered in sweat.

{Daybreak}

"Yosh! Everyone did their best today, as a reward, you'll have an early finish today." coach announced as almost everyone tired from their practice couldn't help but smile about it. "It's time for dinner! Hope I could taste Kera-chan's cooking today." as Miyamura-senpai said with a grin in his face when suddenly. "Ah, gomen. I asked Youka-chan to buy me some drinks and first aid materials. Tonight's dinner will be made by me~" as Tenma-senpai said wearing her apron.

"NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" as some of the members shouted. "Oi! I will take back what I said if you guys don't shut up!"

 {meanwhile}

"Yosh! I got everything. Let's head back." I said to myself as I went out of the convenient store. It took me hours to finish because there were some of my fans who wanted to take a picture of me and I couldn't possibly say no to a fan's request.

*sigh*

"Why did Tenma-senpai even forgot the first aid kit at school." complaining about it as I walked pass the ocean. "It's still early I guess, maybe a short stroll won't be bad." I said to myself and started walking in the beach sand with my slippers off.

"This feels great! There's nothing that could possibly happen right?" I said too soon when I suddenly saw a familiar figure and skin color right near the ocean water.  "D-don't tell me..." I said with a disappointment in my face and tried to covered it when. "Yo!"

"A(h)omine." I said and pouted. "Is that your way of treating to the person who helped you?" he said and walked closer to me. "N-n...." I couldn't answer because of his closeness. "Ah! Look at the time! I better hurry or I'll be-" as I tried to run away, he suddenly had a grip on my shoulders which stopped me from moving. 

"You met Murasakibara, didn't you?" he said as I slowly looked at his face. "I-it's not your business. Now let me go." I said as I glared at him.

"Or what? You've been avoiding me." he said and leaned over my shoulders. "I'm not avoiding you. We just coincidentally met also, you attend Touo, it's far from my school and house, of course we won't meet dummy." I said as my face turned red and looked away, then I heard a gigle. 

"You're really weird you know." he said and returned to his usual self again. "I'm weird!?!?! You're the one here asking so many questions!!!" I said as I realized his grip was gone, as I tried to escape again, rain droplets suddenly fell on my nose. "Huh?"

*rain pouring*

"Seriously!?!? Is this dejavu?!!?" I said as I turned to Aomine. "Hurry up, or else you'll catch a cold." I said as I held his hands and ran to a bus stop. "I'm soaked dammit!" I said and wiped myself with my handkerchief. "Here, wipe yourself." I said as I reached out my handkerchief to him. "I don't need it."

*irritated*

"Fine then." I said as we waited for the rain to stop. "I have to call senpai that I'll be-" I suddenly realized that I left my phone at the reserved house. 

*sigh*

"Guess we'll have to wait until the rain stops." I said and sat down far from where he was seated. I covered my arms with my hands and rubbed it. "Here." I looked towards him and saw that he was offering his jacket. "You need it more than I do." he said as he looked away from me.

"I don't need it." I said angrily when,

*atchoo*

"Fine!" I said and took the jacket. "Also, I could see your purple striped br-" before he could even finished, I punched him. 

"Oi! That hurts baka!" he shouted. "Your the stupid one here." I said and continued sneezing. He then suddenly moved closer to me and leaned over my shoulder. "You'll catch a cold stupid." he said and suddenly slept on my shoulder.

My hearts starts beating faster and face becomes more red. I looked over his sleeping face and turned back again.

You're the one making my heart beat faster, idiot.

{Meanwhile}

Murasakibara was heading home when he suddenly looked over his phone. "It was really nice seeing you again." he then closed it and started to move. "I've missed you." a smirked was formed in his face.
