"Yo, you're never gonna believe what just happened. I asked Ellie LaRusso out on a date!"
"What'd she say?"
"She said yes!"
Miguel high-fives me.
"I hope to have similar luck with Sam."
"It's your lucky day dude, there she is!"
"Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to go out on a date with me?"
"Sorry Miguel, I'm kind of taking a break from dating after what happened with Kyler."
"What if it's not a date and it's two people hanging out?"
"I can work with that. I'll pick you two up at six."
After Sam left, I turned to Miguel.
"You're a fucking genius. I don't care what people think."
"Haha, thanks."
"Wait, did she say both of us?"
"Erm, yeah."
"Damn."
"Well, I guess I'll see you later dude."

Hours later all four of us were at Golf N' Stuff. I knew that our sensei had gone to the All-Valley committee to reverse the lifetime ban on Cobra Kai, but for right now I didn't focus on that.
"Just to be clear, this is not a date?"
Are you sure about that? I think to myself, but nod in agreement.
"Yes ma'am," I muttered sarcastically.
"Something tells me otherwise."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah."
"Well, I just hope our dojo gets back into the tournament."
I smiled before we all walked inside.
"I never asked, how's your family?"
"They're all dead," I responded, shocking the rest of them.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know."
"It's fine; I don't talk about it that much."
"So that means—"
"Yep, you're looking at the sole survivor and only son of Henry Dawson."
I tell her about the time I broke Yasmine's jaw without hesitation.
"She deserved it, not gonna lie."
An hour and a half passed by. We spent the time playing mini-golf, in the arcade, and the photo booth. When it was all over with the tickets, we amassed we bought a stuffed octopus.
"This might have been the best date I've ever been on."
"It's not a date."
"Yep, it's not."
"Are you sure about that?" I start, but get clocked over the head by Miguel; "ow!"
Five minutes later both sisters gave us passionate kisses that lasted for ten seconds.
"And that was not a kiss." They both chorused at the same time.
"Are you sure about that?"
"Shut up."
***
"Tell me you're the man too."
"Yeah! We crushed the date."
"I crushed the committee meeting."
"Cobra Kai's back?"
"Yep!"
"I'm gonna grab a soda. Want a banquet?"
"Nah, this calls for something for real men. I'll be right back."
He reappears with alcohol and pours us both a glass.
"Drink it; it puts hair on your balls."
"Is that supposed to be a good thing?"
"Yes."
"Fair enough."
Miguel and I don't like the taste, but Sensei Lawrence does.
"To Cobra Kai!"
"Never accept defeat!"
"An enemy deserves no mercy!"
