I sat at the edge of my bed lost in thoughts, in my own head since Erin died that's all I do anymore but much to my displeasure Danny won't allow me to just sit up in my room coped up. Snapped out of my thoughts by a skirt flying past my face as I look up at Danny "Danny you can't just throw away all of my clothes you know? I'll be walking around naked if you keep up!" I say as I stand up picking up the skirt from the throw away pile "Absolutely not this is out! This thing is hideous and it animal print please!" He says as he makes a disgusted look and I sigh in response as I hand him the skirt.

"So Danny, What are your plans for later?" I ask as I sit back on the bed crossing over my legs. "Well in just awhile I've got a lunch date with James but after that I'm free for the rest of the night." He says with a pleased expression on his face. "You and James have gotten pretty close? Anything official yet?" I ask as I raise my brow. "Hm, sort of he holds my hand in public if that means anything." He says as he shrugs his shoulders "Of course that means something sweetie." I say as I nudge him in the arm.

As we continue to talk I hear the screeching of tires I look over at Danny as I see we are both curious so I put on new clean clothes and make my way down the stairs and slip on my shoes, seeing a U-Haul parked outside the once for sale house beside mine as I walk over to the porch and gently knock on the old door. I hear the sound of faint steps making its way to the door as it opens I am met with a tall blonde with gorgeous brown eyes snapping quickly out of my thoughts "Hi, I saw the U-Haul parked outside so I thought I'd come introduce myself." I spoke. "My name's Evora, may I ask yours? I ask giving him an gentle warm welcoming smile.

"Alexander, Alexander Tate; you've got an a pretty interesting name to say the least." He says as he raises a brow which gained a laugh from me in response which made him smile just a bit. "Not really that interesting honestly, it means 'yew tree' funny as I'm barely over 5'3." I let out a laugh, as I hear Danny calling me back over to the house. "I gotta go sorry! nice accent by the way it definitely suites you!" I yelled back as I ran back to the house. Reaching the porch and into the house. "So?" Danny says as he raises a brow. "He seems great." I say shrugging my shoulders. "Maybe a bit more than great since I could here you from her laughing." He says as he gives me a bit of a smirk. "Oh please! You are always over analyzing situations!" I say holding back a laugh. "So, he wasn't hot then?" he says giving me the look of fake disappointment. "No, he definitely was and English." I say smirking to myself as Danny spoke up "Oh that's hot!" He says fanning himself with his hands as we laugh.

As it came lunch time Danny had gathered his things an said goodbye an reassured me he'd return. Now finally left to myself and my thoughts as I catch something in the corner of my eyes, I turn to look but nothing. As I go about my evening going through some of Erin's old things I yet again see something at the corner of my eyes but I choose to ignore it an continue to go through Erin's stuff I stop in my tracks as I hear a whisper like voice Evora. Evora. I turn to look and from what seems like a man passing my bedroom door I follow "Who's there? Don't make me call the cops! Hello?.." I say as I start to feel frightened as the whisper starts again In the attic. In the attic. The attic? I say to myself as I make my way down the hall to the attic stairs I finally came face to back with the unknown voice as it spoke again That's where it'll be in the attic. It spoke. "What's in the attic?" I found myself saying as it walks to the door "Wait!" I yell and before my very eyes the unknown man walks straight through door evaporating into a mist of what looked like smoke.

Still in shock at what happened I didn't notice Danny come back or come up the stairs as he suddenly spoke "Hello Evora? What are you doing?" He said slightly concerned. "Ah! Danny don't sneak up on me like that god you gave me a heart attack!" I say heart racing a mile a minute. "And nothing I was just walking around the house my feet fell asleep" I lied. "Well weirdo Lets get back to cleaning out that closet of yours!" He said with a smile. I nodded in agreement as we went back to my room.

"So? have you spoken to Irene?" Danny asks while searching through my closet. "We talked this morning she wants me to come by the shop tomorrow." I say with almost no emotion, Irene my mother and I don't really have the best relationship but ever since Erin passed we have gotten closer; he was working on a missing persons case a young teenage boy named Marcus and he told me days before he was so close to cracking the case but he never got to finish it. Hopefully whoever this new deputy is might actually finish his work.

"Hello? Earth to Evora!" Danny said snapping his fingers in front of me. "Oh, sorry Danny I was in my own head again, What did you say?" I say as I hear a knock at the door "I'll get it you stay here my little freak." he says as he kisses the top of my forehead as I laugh. I waited for a good minute before leaving my room and yelled down the stairs "Danny Who's at the door?" As I walk down the stairs I see Alexander the new neighbor I had previously met in the doorway "Hiya neighbor!" Making Danny laugh in response as I nudge him. "Was Danny here trying to scare you off?" I say jokingly as Danny made a fake offended face as he made his way back into the house.

"No, just sort of caught me off guard to be honest with you." he says as he rubs the back of his neck. "Oh? How so?" I ask raising my brow. "I just thought you lived alone is all, but I came by to ask you something if you don't mind? He asks as he looks down his face turning slightly pink, wondering what he wanted to ask me but I snap out of that thought an say "Oh! Pft Danny is my bestfriend, he gets pretty protective of me around strangers you got nothing to worry about. But what was your question? I ask as I motion to offer for him to come inside the house.

"Well I was wondering if you know of any places that deliver? I seemed to forget to go grocery shopping today amongst the madness of getting my things moved into the house." He says as he takes a seat at the dinning room table as I start to search the drawers for food place fliers. "Hm is that all? Well there are a few places that deliver, take your pick." I say as I place a pile in front of him propping my face with my hands like a child. "If you'd like my opinion Savoni's has the best pizza around." I say giggling pushing the hair out of my face.

"I think I'll take your word for it, would you and Danny like to come over and eat as well? It's just gonna be me tonight till my friend gets here in a few days, I could use the company and some friends here." he says as he flashes me a sweet smile that's impossible to say no too but before I could answer Danny comes into the room. "Of course we would love to pretty boy!" Danny says in a loud cheerful manner that makes me laugh a bit as he puts both his hands on my shoulder. "I guess it couldn't hurt right?" I shyly smiling back at him as we all got up to walk back to his place as Alexander makes the call to order the food I think to myself He doesn't seem to bad, As we wait for the food we sit down and talk and I tell him about our little town, Wake Forest.
