(Pretend they're gingerbread😃🔪) A Kuroyama story-
Kuroo's POV:
"So-" Yamaguchi and I were supposed to be making Cookies for the Christmas party, but the thing is we both don't know how to bake. "I can look it up online!" Yamaguchi flipped out his phone and started googling up how to make cookies. In the mean time I looked for some basic ingredients, like eggs and milk. "I found it!" I turned my head around to find Yamaguchi gasping in amusement. I smiled at the sight, "what'd you find?" Yamaguchi flipped his phone around so I can see, apparently it has an image of a gingerbread cookie.
"Hm, looks nice!" I gave him a reassuring smile, which he responded with a wide smile, "Doesn't it! I know we can do it!" I chuckled and asked for the the extra ingredients, he glanced at his phone again, reading the ingredients. "Hmm, ground cinnamon and Oh! Ground Ginger! Do we have that?" In a matter a fact, I think I remember buying some when we were grocery shopping for the ingredients, thanks to me I was the one randomly throwing stuff in the cart! "I'll check" I stretched my hand to the cabinet with spices, and found the ground ginger, but my playfulness side got the best of me, and I decided to play a prank Yamaguchi, "Oh look-y there, no ginger here" Yamaguchi's twisted so fast, that my neck started to hurt, "What!? We just went to the grocery in the morning!?" Yamaguchi swiftly came to my side and started searching the spice cabinet. "It has to be he- kuroo."
Oh! I been caught! I gave him a nervous chuckle, "what's up babe?" He grabbed something and turned his head slowly but I can already feel the glare, uh is it hot in here? Sweat dripped down my neck and jaw line. Is it just me or do I see fire surrounding around Yamaguchi? "You! Liar!" Yamaguchi let out a shout and started throwing the ginger spice, he has a good aim I can give him that, because the spice hit my side. "Ack! I've been attacked!" I dramatically fell onto the floor holding my "wounded" part. "Suck it up!" Yamaguchi walked up to me and placed his foot on my stomach, and started rocking me gently, "you're such a baby" he glared at me from above, which I smiled slyly . "But I'm you're baby~" I teased him which earned a playful kick to my side. He walked away, also remembering to grab the spice and let out a "blehh!"

"Hmm, I think it's good" I licked the remaining batter off of my finger tip, I glanced at Yamaguchi, who's trying to make the icing. This wouldn't have happen if he didn't stop me from pouring random things in the shopping cart, BUT NO. I say it's his fault, "what?" Hm I must've have been staring to long, "do you want to try some?" I gestured toward the batter which he refused. "Why?!" Yamaguchi huffed and looked back at me, "cause it's raw?" I pouted then I started nagging him. "Please!" Yamaguchi's face looked done for, "fine!" I happily whipped some batter on my finger and pointed it towards him. "Say Ahhh~" he grunted then lifted his head and nibbled on my finger. How cute- OW! "Why'd you bite me!" He averted his face from my finger went back to making the icing, "your face irritated me." How cruel!
I go back to my batter and covered the whisk with some of it, I glanced at Yamaguchi with a mischievous smile plastered on my face. I led the whisk towards Yamaguchi and "Oops!" The batter landed on Yamaguchi's apron and the side of his face. "That's it!" Yamaguchi grabbed some icing and launched it on my face. It was delicious but still! I grabbed some flour from the counter and threw it all over Yamaguchi's hair, he looks like a snowy tree. He huffed and grabbed the sprinkles pouring it on top of my head. We were going back and forward, which led to a big mess.

Yamaguchi was breathing heavily, sweat dripped from our necks, we looked up at each other. We were both cover in flour, batter and icing, to which we bursted into laughter. "You look like a ghost!" Yamaguchi laughed harder, tears formed in his eyes. "Speak for yourself!" I Laughed harder which started to hurt my sides. I tried to contain myself but the image of Yamaguchi kept coming to my mind. Yamaguchi kneeled down and was trying to catch his breath, "ok ok" he got up and composed himself, I also resisted the urge to let out a chuckle. Yamaguchi glanced at the kitchen and groaned, "we need to clean up". I also looked at the kitchen and sighed but I still had a smile on my face. "Alright."

"Hey you guys came!" Sugawara opened the door widely and gestured them in with a smile, he was wearing a Christmas sweater with some green pants. "We wouldn't miss it!" Yamaguchi reflected his smile and walked in the house, with me trailing behind him. In my hands were some ginger bread cookies that we brought from the store. I had them in a plastic container so no one can tell after not having enough time and ingredients for the ginger bread cookies because of the incident... anyways! I placed the container on the counter. "Glad you guys could make it!" Daichi came from behind of Suga, he placed his hand on Suga's waist and gave Yamaguchi and I a smile. "And you guys made gingerbread cookies!" Suga hovered over the cookies and whiffed them, "smells delicious!" Yamaguchi chuckled nervously, "we didn't want to come empty handed." I chuckled internally, Suga smiled endearing, "well you guys are actually early, Hinata said he and kageyama are barely getting here!" Yamaguchi sighed, earlier he was anxious that we would come late. "That's great" I smiled, which made Daichi speak up again, "maybe you guys could be in charge of making cookies next time" Yamaguchi was shocked and wanted to say something but, "I don't- "Sure!" I chuckled and looked down on Yamaguchi, who was shocked then glared at me . "What's wrong freckles? Up for round two?" Yamaguchi face softened at the memory, he giggled and smiled softly at me. "Sure."
I leaned down to the point our noses were touching, I gazed into his eyes, and connected our lips together. Kissing each other softly.
