A goshiyama story-
Goshiki's POV: I was helping my grandpa, like usual. The mop kept swishing back and forward, cleaning the front porch. "When you're done with that, you're done for the day!" My grandpa shouted from the room, the pace I had on the mop became faster. I have to go meet someone, so I should get this done quickly. When I was satisfied with the way the floor was, I put the mop by the side and quickly ran out the house.
The whole time I was running, my heart sped up quickly, this person..I shook my head, I need to make it before they close. I make it to the store just on time, I catch my breath and enter the store. I could feel my sweat drip down my neck. "Hey Yamaguchi.." I managed to croak out, Yamaguchi stands at the counter, and smiles at me, causing me to blush just the slightest. "Hi goshiki! Sunflower seeds again?" Before I could say something Yamaguchi is already grabbing some from the shelf. "Um- no actually.." Yamaguchi stops his movements and looks at me. "I- um.. well I was wondering if.." gosh I'm too nervous, I take a deep breath and put on a straight face. It's my chance! Once in a life time thing! "Would you like to go to the festival dance with me!" The whole store was silent, that the little cricket was loud.
But Yamaguchi isn't saying anything too..Does he not want to? I gulp and try my best to take a glance at Yamaguchi's face, I had to know how he felt! Yamaguchi had a small smile on his face, he looked red..was it the heat? Or maybe he's- "yes, I would love to go with you!" Yamaguchi had a bright smile on his face, my heart fluttered. My face was hot and red, that Yamaguchi might have noticed. "Oh- the summer heat might be getting to you" he chuckled softly, I stuttered and agreed with him

"Ooo~ goshi goshi, has a date!" Tendou smirked and continued eating popcorn on the couch. "No! I-it's not like that!" I yelled unconsciously to him, my face has hot and red, but it still not a date or.. never mind! I could hear Tendou's snickering behind me. "Who is this person, you're dating?" Ushiwaka was coming from the front door, he was buying some chocolate tendou wanted, "Hey, my chocolate!" Tendou leaped out the couch and grabbed the chocolate out of Ushijima's hands. "I'm not dating anyone!" I was flushed red.
My whole face was a tomato, it was embarrassing. "We're just going to the festival dance.." I managed to say, maybe that will shut them up. But it only made it worse. "Oh, Wakatoshi- Kun! Let's go to the festival dance too!" Tendou wrapped a arm around Ushijima's shoulder while smirking at me. "You don't have to!" Who knows what Tendou is up to! "I insist!" Tendou looked over Ushijima, who is considering going. In the end, Ushijima agrees while I'm getting ready to get out of here.

My hands kept on trembling my whole way at Yamaguchi's house, what if he notices? I take a deep breath from the cold breezy air. I can't believe I'm going on a date- the dance with Yamaguchi! I make it at his front porch, and step right in front of his door. Should I knock? Or maybe I should wait a bit? The whole time I was considering, I didn't hear the door creak in front of me. "Hey, goshiki" Yamaguchi opened the door, and there I saw Yamaguchi. He had his hair a half up and half down, it made him look cute! "H-hi!" The face on Yamaguchi's gives me a clue that I was pretty loud. He chuckled and closed the door behind him.
This is it! This is where I have to be a man! I took a breath and reached my hand out towards Yamaguchi, his is fingers he connected them with mine, and we walked towards the dance. The breezy air helped me relax a bit, but how can I relax when Yamaguchi's holding my hand?! We didn't communicate a lot when we were walking, I guess with me panicking inside it made it a bit awkward.. I glanced at Yamaguchi, I wonder how he's feeling right now. Hopefully he doesn't regret going with me.
"You know, I was about to go with Tsukki to the dance but he didn't really want to go.." That was a surprise, Yamaguchi had a small smile plastered on his face. "So I'm glad you asked me to go with you, Tsukki would've been grumpy the whole time" He giggled faintly, causing me to smile unconsciously. So he is happy to be with me! I could feel my heart beat accelerating.
We make it to the dance, there I see Tendou and Ushijima! There goes my luck.. I gesture Yamaguchi towards somewhere Tendou couldn't see us, we stop in front of the food display. I sighed and grab some cherries off the table. "I see Tendou's here" Yamaguchi smiled and grabbed some biscuits off the table. "Yeah, I kinda told him we'll be here" I see Tendou from the corner of my eye, seems like he's a bit mesmerized by the chocolate fountain and Ushijima is standing by his side.
I lean on the table and placed my hands on the table. I felt something, my knuckles touched my back pocket and there I took out the thing from my pocket. Chocolate? I didn't place- Tendou! He must have put this in my pocket when he patted my back and pushed me out the door. I looked at the back and there was a small pink note attached. '𝙶𝚘 𝚘𝚗 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚐𝚒𝚟𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚝𝚘 𝙼𝚛/𝙼𝚛𝚜 𝙶𝚘𝚜𝚑𝚒𝚔𝚒!!' I blushed quickly and hid the note, Yamaguchi seemed to notice and asked me if I was okay. "I-I'm fine!" I looked at the chocolate and handed it to Yamaguchi, who seemed surprised but happily took it. "Thank you."
"You can thank me for that!" Tendou came up from behind me, frightening me. "Tendou!"
"We saw you guys from delicious choco fountain!" Hopefully Tendou doesn't do anything, Yamaguchi greets them with a simple smile and a wave. My ears tingle from the breath of Tendou's whispering. "So this is the lucky guy Eh?" I push Tendou off of me, and smile softly at Yamaguchi, "let's go dance." I need to get out of here before Tendou's says something embarrassing about me. Yamaguchi gladly take my hand and I lead us to the dance floor.

No one's POV: Tendou chuckles in the side while Yamaguchi and Goshiki are dancing, "young love~" Tendou sighed happily, Ushijima who was beside him mentioned that they were not to far from their age, Tendou smirked and patted Ushijima's back, "don't worry about that."

Goshiki's POV: Yamaguchi and I sat down for a break, it was really lively at the dance floor. It tired me out, I looked over at my shoulder and saw Yamaguchi sighing happily. It made me really happy and relieved that Yamaguchi liked it! "Thank you for inviting me." Yamaguchi looked at me and smiled softly at me, "No, I should be thanking you!" Yamaguchi grinned at me, I think I messed up on my word! I suddenly felt a warm touch and realized how close Yamaguchi's and My hand are. I could feel my face heat up!
"Yamaguchi..I wanted to ask you something" Yamaguchi looked at me, "what is it?" Did it get hot in here?! My heart was quaking inside me, darn I'm all sweaty! "I.." I couldn't say the correct words, I was trembling from embarrassment. "I'm in l-
"Hey lovebirds! Whatcha doing?" Tendou shouted and hugged both of us from behind! And I didn't say what I wanted to! Tendou smirked at me and took his attention to Yamaguchi. Darn! "Yamaguchi? Ya! Wanna hang out at our place?" Tendou asked Yamaguchi, which he happily accepted. Oh well- maybe some day? When Tendou or Ushijima aren't around. I smiled and we all headed back to Tendou's place.
