Macy POV
It has been a few months now. I have gotten a lot closer to Alya and Nino. My other classmates have also started talking to me more. Living with Ruu and Adrien has been as amazing as it was before. All in all, my life is going great!
Except I usually avoid being near or talking to Marinette. It's fine as Ladybug, but not so much as Marinette. I usually make up some excuse to leave, whenever she comes to talk to Alya or anyone I am talking to.
I can't help it. I really don't want to have anything to do with her. Her world is way more different than mine. I don't want to drag her down. Besides, it would be bad if she remembered me and told mom and dad about me. I'd most probably have to move back.

Tomorrow is the anniversary of my parents' wedding day! they've been married 20 years!! I always give them gifts today. they always wonder who the mysterious gift-giver is. This time I'm going to give them an accessory I made by myself!
A set of earrings for mom and a cufflink for Dad.
"Wow Macy, you really are kind. You still give them gifts after they abandoned you?", Mullo flew out.
"I know. At first, these gifts were to let them remember me. They were always thankful to the mysterious gift giver. So I wanted to leave at least something for them to remember me with", I explained. Mullo seemed to have noticed my sadness and hugged my cheek, to which I smiled.
"Alright then! Let's go to the craft room!".
I walked out of my room and saw Adrien and Ruu in the living room. Wanya was most probably doing laundry.
"Hey, Macy! what are you doing?", Adrien asked as he walked over with Ruu on toe.
"oh, I'm just going to make some accessories. Want to come with me?", I asked. Their eyes gleamed and I laughed at their cuteness. We entered the craft room and I sat down in front of my work table. Adrien pulled a Chair while Ruu went to find Wanya.
"So, who are you making it for?", He asked. I paused.
"It's... my parents' wedding anniversary tomorrow. I always give them gifts every year, though they don't know it's me. I'm making this for their 20th anniversary", I took a deep breath and explained. I felt a hand on my shoulder and immediately knew it was Adrien. I put my hand on his hand to reassure him that I'm fine.
"Thanks".
We spent the rest of the evening, working on the jewelry. I had a lot of fun. Adrien helped me improve the designs. It took less time since both of us did it together. Ruu and Wanya came in once in a while. We played together and they tried making their own jewelry. Ruu's came out better than Wanya's. All in all the evening was filled with laughter.
The next day. I wrapped up my gift and sent it to them like I usually would.

Marinette POV
I walked down the stairs to see mom gushing about how the flower on her head would look. I reassured her that it was fine and she just laughed.
"So, do you think that mystery sender will send a cute gift this year too?", Mom asked.
"I think so, I mean today is a very special day after all.", I replied. We always look forward to the mysterious person's gifts. After all this time, we still haven't figured it out. I remember Macy and I used to-
Wait, now that I think about it, I haven't seen Macy in a long time.
I was brought out of my thoughts when dad called me. I forgot all about it and ran off.
