Macy POV
I was currently in the living room, watching TV while eating breakfast. Adrien was next to me while Wanya was feeding Ruu. I looked at the calendar and remembered what day it was today.
"Adrien, I won't be coming to school today", I informed him. Even though I was used to this, I still felt hurt every time I thought of them. It has been a couple of days since the sleepover. Today was Career day, which means I have to bring a parent. When I was young, I would ask my father to come over. But he never showed up, since it was career day in Marinette's school too. It was one of the few times I was disappointed in my parents.
Adrien looked at me questioningly.
"It's career day today, remember?", I explained. He seemed to have understood what I meant and hugged me. I melted into his embrace.
"Thank you. I really needed that", I smiled at him while He, Wanya, and Ruu looked at me with worry in their eyes.
"But, today attendance is compulsory right?", Adrien pointed out. Oh right. I forgot.
"Oh yeah. I guess I don't have a choice. I'll just say they're busy or something", I sighed as I put the dishes to wash. I'm really not in a good mood. Adrien came over to put his dishes in the wash before he hugged me from behind.
"For comfort", he mumbled. I smiled as I continued to wash the dishes. I felt much better in his warm and loving embrace. I felt safe and loved.

We were in class currently and it was Marinette's turn. I wonder if they'll remember me. I walked out of the classroom, to find Adrien on the phone with his father. It seems he bailed too.
I went over and hugged him. I think he didn't notice me before, since he flinched for a second before relaxing.
"Hey, you're not alone", I said as I looked him in the eye. I knew how it felt. You feel like you are all alone in the world. You'll feel like you aren't loved. When I felt that way, there was no one there for me. But now, I have an amazing family. It's funny how destiny plays with your feelings.
Adrien seemed to have understood what I meant and smiled a grateful smile. We then walked back into class. I noticed how Alya and Nino were giving the 2 of us weird looks. They were smirking for some reason. I just shrugged it off and went back to my seat. It was Alya's turn now and her mom was a chef. Cool.
I then saw Chloe showing off her bracelet. It was designed by vision. I wonder how she'll feel when she finds out I'm the CEO. I giggled to myself at the thought. I looked up to see Adrien doing the same. Our eyes met and I knew he was thinking the same thing. We exchanged a knowing glance before turning away.
I was chilling as usual when I saw Chloe's bracelet fly in and out of her pouch. What the hell?
I straightened my back a bit to get a better view of what was going on. I then saw a black figure playing with it. I was shocked. Was that a... kwami?
The next thing I know, that little guy caused the bag to fall, causing Marinette to slip. I quickly grabbed her hand to make sure she doesn't fall before secretly taking the kwami out of sight.
I brought it to my desk and pretended to sleep as I talked to it.
"Hey little guy, that's dangerous y'know. You might get caught and have your owner's identity exposed", I scolded as I looked at him. He looked shocked and tried pretending to be a doll. I just looked at him and deadpanned.
"I know your a kwami, no need to pretend", I sighed. he then finally spoke.
"Well then, can you help me get this off?", he asked as he struggled to remove the bracelet.
