Chapter 3

You wake up and take a shower you put on some black overall shorts and a green t-shirt with some knee-high socks and some combat boots I put my hair in space buns and walk downstairs. "Todays the day!!!!" my mom chimes as you walk down the stairs. "Yess I'm so excited!! I have everything packed and Mazikeen is all ready." I named my owl Mazikeen cause the name Mazikeen means harmful spirit and she doesn't like anyone but me. "Well eat before I feel insulted" My aunt says coming through the door of the kitchen. "Hey, your back!" I say. After we went to Diagon alley she had to go back home and take care of her kids but she said she'd be back for when I was leaving for Hogwarts and here she is. "I said I was going to be back didn't I?" she said sweetly "Of course but I didn't know if you would be busy with your kids or not." "they're in school now so I don't have to hire a nanny. now eat" " ok ok I'll eat." you say as your making a plate she made French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, and once again tea. So you get some French Toast, eggs, and tea. You eat and then all of you get in the car and drive to Kings cross you get to the pillar between 9 and 10 "so I just walk through?" you say in a confused tone "yes you just walk through but if your nervous you can run" I hear a woman say and the voice sounds very familiar then you realize "Hey Molly!!" "Hello dear." I hear her and It kind of in a weird way makes me feel safe "Oh mom this is Molly Weasley I met her at Diagon alley after I got my wand" "Nice to meet you I'm Nova's mom, Sierra." They talked for a while and we walk through the pillar my mom gives me the longest goodbye and then I get on the train. We got here fairly early so most of the cubicles were empty I found one in the back and sat down and put in my headphones and started listening 'to people I don't like' by upsahl. The bus started getting packed so I closed the door and before I could put my headphones back in someone knocked at the door I looked up and it was a red-headed girl she looked as sweet as a button I opened the door. "hey sorry for barging in but all the other cubicles have so many people in it-" "It's ok you can come sit in here" I say she goes and sits down "hi I'm crimson" "I'm nova" and right before I can close the door someone blocks the door from closing it was him. The boy I kept seeing at Diagon alley "can I sit in here?" he says. "yeah sure why not." you say sitting down "just close the door" you say with a little hint of rudeness. The train starts up. You open your book "really?! pride and prejudice?" "Yeah got a problem with it?" you say as you look at that boy " Elizabeth Bennet needs to chill. She gave Darcy a way worse time than he deserved." "Are you saying that Darcy was not in love with Elizabeth?" I say with a 'chose your words wisely' look. "Love is just a transaction. We're all hardwired to desire. You give up on trying to get your other headphone and continue reading an hour later.  "you may have terrible taste in literature but your music isn't half bad" I'm so annoyed at him right now  "can you just shut up" you say with annoyance dripping from your words "why are you such a bitch" "cause your a douche" he shuts up and you listen to music and talk to crimson shes sweet and it seems like we'll be close friends. You arrive at Hogwarts and meet with the McGonagall "Welcome to Hogwarts," said Professor McGonagall. "The start-of-term banquet will begin shortly, but before you take your seats in the Great Hall, you will be sorted into your houses. The Sorting is a very important ceremony because, while you are here, your house will be something like your family within Hogwarts. You will have classes with the rest of your house, sleep in your house dormitory and spend free time in your house common room. The four houses are called Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Each house has its own noble history and each has produced outstanding witches and wizards. While you are at Hogwarts, your triumphs will earn your house points, while any rule-breaking will lose house points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the House Cup, a great honor. I hope each of you will be a credit to whichever house becomes yours. The Sorting Ceremony will take place in a few minutes in front of the rest of the school. I suggest you all smarten yourselves up as much as you can while you are waiting. after a couple of minutes she comes back "Move along now," said a sharp voice. "The Sorting Ceremony's about to start." Professor McGonagall had returned."Now, form a line, "Professor McGonagall told the first-years, "and follow me."Professor McGonagall led the first-years up so that they came to a halt in a line facing the other students, with the teachers behind them. The hundreds of faces staring at them looked like pale lanterns in the flickering candlelight. Dotted here and there among the students, the ghosts shone misty silver. Mainly to avoid all the staring eyes, I looked upwards and saw a velvety black ceiling dotted with stars. I heard Crimson whisper, "It's bewitched to look like the sky outside, I read about it in Hogwarts: A History ." It was hard to believe there was a ceiling there at all, and that the Great Hall didn't simply open onto the heavens. Professor McGonagall now stepped forward holding a long roll of parchment.

"When I call your name, you will put on the hat and sit on the stool to be sorted," she said. "Lopez, Crimson!"
Crimson walked out of line, put on the hat, which fell right down over her eyes, and sat down. A moments pause --
"HUFFLEPUFF!" shouted the hat.
The table on the right cheered and clapped as Crimson went to sit down at the Hufflepuff table. I saw the ghost of the Fat Friar waving merrily at her. After a couple more people I hear Riddle, Matheo the hat sits on his head thinks for a second, "SLYTHERIN!!" he walked over to the Slytherin table and sat down then I heard "Fox, Nova" I walk up and sit on the stool the hat hovers my head and immediately screams...
