The Occult Research Club was bustling with excitement and questions after your short but meaningful embrace with Rias.

Mostly just wanted to know what happened, considering after your brutal victory over Riser you completely vanished.

"Well, uhh.. To put it simply; I couldn't control my power output so I had to get to a safe place to release all of the energy. I'm sorry I didn't tell any of you. My sacred heart- despite Pandora's best efforts- isn't something that is controlled easily." You looked around at everyone as you spoke, hoping they would understand.

And of course, they still accepted you with open arms.

"That was quite a show you put on. You really messed Riser up." Akeno said, while clutching her skirt and smiling deviously.

"I didn't know you had a sword of your own!" Kiba spoke up, brimming with excitement. "We really need to spar soon."

You laughed at their responses, and ultimately chose not to go down the path of Akeno's sadism. "Yeah, Kiba. We can spare any time you'd like! Although I would like to rest today."

Rias then spoke up again from where she stood a few feet to your right. "Well unfortunately, I need you to run an errand. There is a pact that needs to be made, and strangely enough you were specifically requested. If something happens, cal I'll immediately and I'll send backup."

You stood on the docks facing the water of Lake Kuoh. Soft waves lapped up against the dark wooden pillars holding the dock up. The sun was beginning to fade, and the affects of dusk were stunning as you watched out to the horizon. This was a beautiful moment.

"I like to come out here often and watch the sun set as well." A slightly deep voice spoke up from a few feet behind you. Had the voice not been so calm and peaceful, you would've been startled.

You turned slowly to face the man. He was in his early thirties, with dark eyes and black hair with blonde highlights at the end. He wore a black yukata, and seemed completely at peace. Like he had never had an angry or malicious thought in his life.

"Nice to meet you, kid. My name is Azazel. And I'm the leader of the Fallen Angels."

You panicked immediately, and the color drained from your face. If he was their leader, he must be many times more powerful than you. You took a step back and instinctively put your hands up in a defensive position.

To which he simply chuckled.

"I'm not going to try and hurt you, (Y/N). That's not at all why I'm here." His voice was still calm, and his smile seemed genuine. "I simply wanted to meet the young man who made Riser Phenix look like a weeping child. I'm quite impressed."

This sent your mind reeling. You impressed someone with the power of a god? "You're impressed?"

He chuckled again and spoke. "Of course I'm impressed. Taking down a Phenix is no small task, and once you summoned your balance breaker, defeating him was simple and efficient. You did nice work. And truth be told, you could say I'm a fan of sacred gears.

"What do you mean, 'a fan'?" You questioned him, your hands now lowered and relaxed at your sides.

"Well you see, I do research on sacred gears. Call it a hobby. But let's get back on that. There's other matters that we need to talk about. Consider it a friendly chat. Nothing more, nothing less."

His tone was the epitome of relaxed and friendly. But the deal seemed strange.

"I thought devils and fallen angels hated eachother?" You asked quizzically.
