The next morning, you were sitting outside of a cafe on their patio, slowly sipping a coffee. You had woken early. And watched the sun come up from outside of the downtown pastry shop.
From behind you, soft hands slowly gripped your shoulders "Good morning, handsome."
You felt her nimble fingers work themselves into your muscles as she massaged you while giggling softly at your grin.
"Well Goodmorning Lady Rias." You said, closing your eyes.
After a moment, she stopped and took her place at the table across from you. The waitress saw her arrival and quickly came forth to take her order. After Rias ordered her macchiato and the waitress left, she looked at you with a more serious expression.
"So you have a fallen angel who was ordered to kill you currently sleeping in your home?"
You gave an exasperated sigh and replied. "Well when you say it like that it sounds much worse.. She was ordered to kill me just like the fallen guy I killed a while back. They were under the same orders from the same person. Apparently whoever their master is, he saw me as a huge threat to his plans. Something is going to happen soon in Kuoh."
Her expression soured considerably, and she stared intently at the ground. "Well that means we have a lot of preparing to do. We have to rely on eachother, so I'm going to need you to stick close with everyone now. And you still never answered as to why the girl didn't try to kill you."
"Well, it's honestly quite simple." As you spoke, you felt your own cheeks begin to heat up. "She had asked to go on a date as a way to get my guard down. But as the day progressed, feelings were developed. And she when the time came she couldn't bring herself to complete her mission. And since she was honest with me, I feel like it's my responsibility to keep her out of harms way as well."
Rias face palmed at the realization that yet another girl had fallen for you. Then she looked back up at you with a cheeky grin. "And yet another girl falls for the charm of Mr. Y/n L/n."
After your interesting breakfast with Rias, you were walking home to fetch Raynare, then head back to the Occult Research Club. As your mind wandered, you noticed something out of the corner of your eye. A petite blonde girl, dressed in the clothes of a holy maiden, was chasing a scarf that was blowing briskly in the wind. As she crossed a street, still in hot pursuit of the white cloth, she failed to notice a sedan that was barreling straight for her.
With all of the strength you could muster, you crouched low and shot forward. Bridging the distance to the young woman in a split second, you wrapped your toned arms around her body, and pulled her with you into the sidewalk.
The cars horn blared as it sped past, not bothering to stop and check on the two individuals lying in a heap on the pavement.
You felt her chest rapidly rising and falling against yours, and your eyes connected with hers.
"Are you okay?" You softly ask, helping the girl to her feet slowly.
"Yes sir, I am!" Her voice was light, and calming. Like a cooling breeze on a scorching hot day. "Thank you so much for saving me, I'm so clumsy.."
You took a few steps away from her to a bush, and retrieved the elusive scarf she was trying to hard to grab. Handing it to her, you also extend your hand. "My name is Y/N L/N."
She gave you a brilliant smile and took your hand in her own soft ones. "My name is Asia Argento! It's quite a pleasure." After her introduction, she begins looking around, and her expression quickly turns worrisome.
"Miss Asia, are you lost?" You figured that you had some time, so why not guide her?
After helping her find the church she was looking for, which happened to be an abandoned cathedral on the outskirts of town. And on the way you quickly realized that this girl was Raynare's former target. The wielder of Twilight Healing.
