Aesop froze. Someone (or maybe something) had just entered the room he was hiding in. It was dark in the room but he could make out the silhouette of a man standing near the exit. He didn't know what to do and knowing how these sick games work he knew not to bring attention to himself. So Aesop decides not to do anything and just waits.

"I know you're in here." The silhouette whispers. His voice reminds Aesop of an old ratio that barely works. It was crackly yet mythical. He knew he wasn't human or at least not anymore. No human could have a voice like that. "You should stop hiding from me."

Aesop doesn't move but says in a whisper "What about the others?" He pauses, thinking about the two women and the other man that joined the game with him. "What did you do with them?"

The radio voice hums. Or maybe it was a grunt, Aesop couldn't really tell. "I don't care much for them. These games are boring and sick." The silhouette says void of emotion. Aesop didn't know if it was lying. He couldn't communicate with them from where he is and for all he knew they could all be dead. Though Aesop didn't care much if they were dead or not, it would be much harder to survive if he were by himself.

"And what of me?" Aesop slowly steps out of his hiding place, not sure if the thing could see him in the dark. "If you left them alone why not me?" He asks slowly. The only thing he could think of was to leave the room and escape from this thing. Aesop was determined to survive.

It's silent for a moment and Aesop can no longer tell where it is. "You're entertaining." He feels it whisper into his ear. Aesop jumps back, not sure how that thing got so close to him so fast without him noticing. He can see it's eyes glowing a bright blue in the darkroom, looking down at him. Instinctively, Aesop took another step back. "The other sacrifices are so boring. Their reactions are all predictable."

Aesop gulps. "And mine isn't?" The thing just smiles down at him, not giving him a definite answer. "What do you want from me?" Aesop decides to ask instead though he isn't sure it's going to answer this one.

The thing stays silent, keeping his glowing eyes on Aesop. It was starting to freak him out really bad. "...my side."

Aesop pauses. Did it say something? He couldn't quite hear what it had said. "What was that?" He asks.

The radio voice sighs then says in a louder voice, "I want you to stay by my side." Was this some kind of sick joke? Aesop didn't like a single word that came out of this thing's mouth. It was ridiculous.

"I doubt the owner of this manor would agree to that." No, Aesop knew well the owner would be 100% against it. Plus Aesop wanted nothing to do with this thing. He wanted to do what he came here to do and he was determined to succeed.

"Well," Aesop felt a tip of a sword pressed against his side, "I guess we better start hiding you." The radio voice says in a smug tone. Right then Aesop realized he should have just dashed out of the room instead of chatting with a monster. How was he going to get out of this now?
