Please....pay attention to me.....

I shift uncomfortably from where I sit on the fountain in the garden. The wound on my arm from the last battle was basically fully healed but it still hurt a lot. "Mr.Campbell!" I look up to see Tracy walking towards me. I also see Mike from the corner of my eye watching us, though I can't make out his expression from my view. "How is your arm doing?" Tracy asks with a sad smile. "I heard you got hurt."

Tracy is the only person on this team I can tolerate. Mike and William are too friendly and loud for me, so knowing Tracy is worried over me gives me a warm feeling almost.

Before I can answer her back however I hear Mike's voice cut in. "Norton! You're hurt?! Why didn't you tell me!" Mike exclaims as he runs up to me, basically wrapping himself around my uninjured arm. Did he know that was my uninjured arm? Tracy gasps and steps away from us, she's looking uncomfortable now.

"I'm fine, do not worry," I say to Tracy then look down at Mike to glare at him. "Get off of me, Mike." I scoff as I shove him off my arm.

Mike laughs while he hits my shoulder. "No need to be so grumpy! You're like an old man, aha!" He continues laughing at his incredibly unfunny joke. It is really starting to get annoying.

Just as I was about to shut him up Tracy says, "Well I'll be heading back inside then." She looks up at me hesitantly and smiles. I tense up suddenly feeling vulnerable. "I'll see you both later." I watch her walk away for a moment and then look back at Mike, who is staring at Tracy as well. While I think it's weird for him to stare at her I take the opportunity of him being distracted to take my leave as well.

However, halfway back to the mansion, he grabs my wrist, stopping me from going further. I turn and glare at his smiling face. "Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out this evening? I can make us some dinner?" He asks me, his smile a little too sweet and a little too big.

I scoff and snatch my hand back. "Yeah, when hell freezes over," I say lowly as I turn back towards the mansion. As I said Mike is too much for me, I could not handle a full evening with him. Too friendly, too loud. Tracy however isn't like that. She's quiet and likes to keep to herself. It's why I prefer her presence over Mike and Williams.

I should visit her tonight.

I really regret agreeing to come to this. The tension between us four is unbearable and I was wishing I was in my room right now.

"Why are we all here?" Mike asks, sounding slightly annoyed, which is a surprise; he's usually always happy. Though I agreed with his annoyance, I'm annoyed as well.

"Well," William starts, "our game is in a couple of days. Shouldn't we plan something in order to survive?" Of course, we're here to "plan" like that works out so well with my other teammates. I usually always ended up saving them and doing all the work. It'll probably be the same thing with this team.

"This is what this is about? Really?" Mike stands up from his seat, an amused expression on him. "This is really stupid. I'll be heading back to my room." He walks away, waving to us without looking back.

"Mike! Wait, come back here!" William runs after him. Both of them disappear down the hall, leaving me and Tracy all alone. Suddenly it was tense but for an entirely different reason. I shift in my seat, feeling vulnerable again.
