Warning: Ending is a little messed up

That Aesop, a weird one he is. He's always watching, never saying a word. Never saying what's on his mind. But there is something about him that draws me in. Something that I find interesting but I can't quite put my finger on it.

As I watch Aesop, who is staring at Victor from afar, Demi taps on my shoulder to get my attention. I glance at her, her face is slightly red and her eyes are wide. "Fiona! Want to get some drinks with me?" She asks, her voice already a little slurred. Ever since I was put with this team I've noticed that all Demi does is drink and try to get other people to drink with her.

I look back at Aesop and notice he's leaving the room. "No thanks," I tell Demi and then quickly follow after Aesop, not waiting for a response from Demi.

I try to stay as far as I can while keeping him in view. It seems he's heading in the direction of his room. As I continue following I turn a corner I end up running right into him. He wraps his arm around my waist; o catch from falling or to stop me from running I am not sure. Either way, he caught me.

"Why are you following me, Fiona?" He asks, glaring down at me in suspicion. I look away from his piercing gaze, a strange feeling settles in my stomach.

"I was simply curious what you were up to," I state simply.

His grip on me tightens. "The truth Fiona. Now." His voice is low and commanding. Why was he acting like this? He never seemed like the type to be so aggressive. Why do I feel so hot all of a sudden?

"That is the truth, Aesop. My apologies if you don't believe it." It was kind of true. I was curious, yes but at the same time, it felt weird when he wasn't near. Maybe he holds some kind of gift? Maybe I am being guided to him for a reason. Perhaps he is gifted like me.

Aesop doesn't say anything, he just stares at me. Though the longer he stares the longer my body heats up, I almost want to push him away. But just as I am about to crack and push away he lets go of me which makes me lose balance and fall onto my knees.
