My phone begins to ring and I check the name! It's Catherine! I won't have her causing another scene so I excuse myself to walk outside! What do you want I ask her angrily? Hey Alex nice to talk to you too she says sarcastically! Look I'm not interested in small talk why are you calling? I was just making sure you are still coming in Tuesday to talk? She says with a devious laugh!
Yes I'll be there first thing Tuesday! I don't need you to tell anyone I'm coming this will be a quick trip! I say to her knowing she can't keep her mouth closed! Oh I won't say a word she says! I know she's up to something I just can't figure out what it is! We need to iron out the details for the dna test so I can get on with my life! I don't need any distractions!
It's a good thing Treasure starts work Monday so that gives me time to go to London and back home before she gets off work!
Alright I'll see you Tuesday I say and quickly hang up the phone! I go back to the table and sit down to finish my meal when suddenly all eyes are on me! Who was on the phone my angel asks me? Oh it was no one I just had to discuss an issue! It's nothing for you to worry about baby! I say to her hoping the conversation is over! I'll tell her after everything is over she has enough to worry about without adding my drama to the mix! After we finish eating I take Treasure's hand and lead her to the movie room!
So baby what would you like to watch I say to her? I want to watch who was that on the phone? She says to me! Her eyes are studying mine vigorously! It's no one baby really! Oh really if it's no one why won't you tell me who it was? She says angrily? Okay fine it was Catherine! I can't lie to her she knows me too well! Just like I can tell when she's lying she can tell when I am! What why is she calling you again? What's going on Alex? Why wouldn't you just tell me it was her? What are you hiding?
Once the words leave her mouth my heart drops! I'm going to have to tell her! Just then a text comes thru my phone! Treasure picks it up with a stunned look on her face! What's wrong baby I ask her? Oh nothing just that Catherine said she is looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday! She says then tosses my phone onto my bed! If you don't start talking I'm leaving and I mean now! Why is she saying she will see you Tuesday?
Are you going to London and you weren't even going to tell me? After all we've been thru you pick now to start lying to me? Just when I open up and start trusting you you lie to me?
Oh boy here we go! I don't know what to say but my angel is very upset with me! Start talking or I'm leaving Alex!
