Right after Lisa and Jennie were informed that Soo was admitted to the hospital, the two came rushing leaving whatever they were doing, Lisa was having an important meeting with the stakeholders but at the moment she didn't care same goes for Jennie, as she was having a leave for a week she had so much to look onto the Novel she was currently writing, her heart sank when she heard the news,

The whole ride to the hospital was a mess as Jennie was wailing and Lisa was restless,

The two reach the hospital in no time, Lisa brags at the reception and asks for the room where Soo was taken, wherein Jennie is so devastated that she can't even utter a word other than shrieking in worries

"Thank you," Lisa said as she turned her heels and jogged towards the elevator followed by Jennie, for a moment Lisa was so disheartened that she could not remember Jennie was with her only when they were inside the elevator, she pulled Jennie, and hugged her tight while planting a soft kiss on the top of the latter's head

"Shhh! He'll be fine, I won't let anything happen to him" Lisa wasn't sure of what she was saying, so she rubbed Jennie's back in an attempt to soothe her sobbing wife, after a while the elevator door opened and they both dashed towards the said room

As soon as Luca and kuma saw their parents they called out and ran toward them
"Dada!" "Mommy" Rosé stood up fiddling with her finger seeing the two her face turned woeful and brimming with tears, Lisa immediately scooped kuma up and Jennie carried Luca

"Rosé where is he?" Jennie asked as her tears rolled down uncontrollably to which Luca wiped them without letting them fall on the ground

"He's inside the E.R, doctors are checking on him" Rosé explains but she couldn't help but break down in despair

"H...how does it happen?" Lisa asked desperate as she was already trembling with worried

"We were playing... Today he laughed wholeheartedly while I was chasing the two, it was my first time hearing such blissful laughter from him but it didn't last long... After a couple of seconds he screams in pain and faints" Rosé lamented as she burst out crying, Jennie did the same she embraced Luca tightly and wept, while Lisa...? she didn't say anything anymore

After what felt like forever for the couple, the E.R door opened revealing a middle-aged man, Lisa let kuma sit as she scrambled towards the doctor eager to know the condition of her baby

"Doctor! How's my baby?" The man sighed as he tapped on Lisa's shoulders making the latter more and more scared to hear his response

"Please follow me to my room"

With that the man started walking Lisa followed him immediately, wherein Jennie let Luca stay with rosé and followed after Lisa

"How is he?" Jennie breathed as she held onto Lisa's forearm, the latter shaking her head saying that she had no idea

The doctor pushed the door of his room and the two trailed behind him, he took his seat as he removed the stethoscope from his nape

"Please take a seat" The two obliged and took their seat, Jennie was already shaking inside out, while Lisa was awfully relaxed than usual which only meant she could sense that the report of her son would be dreadful

"Before I start, please try to understand and I ask for your patience" The two nodded their head to let the doctor continue, Jennie was already a nervous wreck, but she was still trying her best to stay strong for her baby,

The doctor heaved a long deep sigh as he added

"He's diagnosed with neuroblastoma, in short, it is a type of cancer..." Before the doctor could complete Jennie gasped while covering her mouth she tried to stifle her sob, as for Lisa her heart sank, and clenching her jaw
