Incomplete

Chapter 16

Sarah's POV
Neither of us slept much that night. We only say and talked and occasionally one of us would drift off but, wake up a few minutes later.
"Newt you can't leave me" i whisper. I move a piece of hair out of his face.

"I have to, I can't fight them" he answers, playing with my fingers.

"If they take you they take me too." I answered confidently, I started drawing circles on his chest.

"I won't let you go into the maze, not after what happened to Erin" he said, I winced when he said her name. He noticed so he pull me closer and kissed me on the forehead, letting his lips linger on my skin for a few seconds.

"I can't loose you again." I shocked myself when I said again, but we both knew what I meant. I can't loose him like I almost lost him to the maze before and look how that turned out, now he has a limp.
He looked down but, I put my finger under his chin and made his eyes look me in my eyes.

"I'm not letting them take you away." I whisper and lean in and out lips connect. I don't know if he feels it but, I still get sparks ad this tingling feeling in my fingertips.
When we pull away he says,
"I don't know how many times I'm going to be able to do that."
"As many times as you want, because we are going to get out of here, we are going to live in paradise and live happily ever after." There is no doubt about it, we are getting out, together.
"You can live without me, Bear you are able to do aMAZEing things without me." He whispered.

"No you are my other half, my better half, without you I'm not myself, whoever I was before I got put in the maze that was because of you, when I was weeping over the fact that you weren't with me for 2 damn years so now that I'm with you I'm not letting someone take you away from me, because without you i am incomplete." I say without hesitation, I don't even think of the words before they come out of my mouth.

"Please put up a fight, I don't want you to be taken away and know that you didn't even try to stay." I whisper. He nods.
"I will try." And with that I fell to sleep, not knowing what will await for the days coming.

The first thing I see when I'm awoken is Newt's face, not that I'm bothered by that but, he looks worried.
"They want you at the gathering." he says softy as I get up. I nod and put on my shoes, I feel two arms slither around my waist as soon as I'm standing up tall again.
"I don't know if I ever told you this but, you are beautiful." He whispers from behind me.
"I think you might of mentioned something like that." I giggle back, I love when he hugs me like this it just feels so right. Once we stand there for about 10 minutes I pull away and get serious again.
"We need to go now" I say looking at my feet.
"One more kiss?" he asks. I don't answer I just push my lips against his, the kiss is filled with love and passion but, it was over quickly.
"I'm going to miss that." He says under his breath.
"You won't have to, because I will always be with you." I don't know if I'm convincing myself or him.
I grab his hand and we walk over to the gathering house to see everyone already there, eyes on us as soon as we step in. Our hands were still intertwined.
"See he completely defies the rules, he doesn't give a shuck about them anymore." Gally yells from his spot.
"We don't give a shuck because you already took everything from us, what more can you do." I yell back. He glares goes from Newt to me, but, when he looks at me his expression softened like he is understanding what he is doing to me.

"Okay enough of the brother sister arguing shanks, this is totally pointless, we are not banishing the second in command we need him." Frypan speaks up, as I let go of Newt so he can sit in the middle of the semi circle.
"Slim it" Alby roars over all of the talking, and everyone silences.

"Gally explain why you think Newt, the second in command deserves a banishment." He speaks quieter this time. I'm in a chair facing Newt, I am kinda part of the council now, I'm keeper of the Greenies. Everytime a Greenie comes up I give them the tour.

"Okay so when I went in to check on my sister after dinner because we all were kinda sad about..." he gulped at this part not wanting to say her name. "Well, anyway I went into her room to find this shank locking lips with my sister, which is a clear violation of the rules." Gally raised his voice. I raised my hand because I had something to say. Alby looked at me and rolled his eyes but gave me a look with which I was allowed to speak.
"Okay this "rule" was only because a Ben forcefully against her will touched someone, Newt didn't kiss me, I kissed him. Which means if he gets banished then you are banishing me too." I say this all confidently, I don't give a shuck about the maze, I want to be with him. I hear gasps around the room when after I suggest my banishing.
"I say we change the rule, if you touch a female against their will then you are banished, because I know Thomas and Newt agree with me and probably a bunch of you guys too that this rule is absurd." I say again, I take the chance to glance at Newt who is deep in thought. Then Alby clears his throat.
"We will be taking two votes today, one to see if we banish Newt and one to see if we change our rule." Everyone goes around the room saying if they should banish Newt or not, more than half said not, thank the lord. Then the rule was changed too everything seemed right, well until we heard an alarm, I totally forgot that today we get a new greenie. We all rush from the gathering tent to the box and wait a good 20 minutes then it comes up. As soon as the box doors open I jump in to see an attractive boy with blond hair and green eyes. He was squirming away from me.
"Hey it's okay, you will be fine, you are safe with us." I whisper walking closer to him, as soon as he hears my voice he stops trying to get away and stands up. I put my hand out for him to shake but, he rejects it and pulls me in for a hug. I look up to see Newt threatening to jump in the box but, Minho has his hand in front of Newt's chest stopping him.
I release the hug and step into the rope and the boys start to pull me up, and greenie does the same. Once we are both back on our feet I start talking.

"Welcome to the glade greenie, my name is Sarah" I say again, spinning around when I said glade.
"Do you remember your name?" I ask.
"Um, my name is Jeremy." I nod and walk to the Homestand hearing the greenie trail along asking a shuck load of questions.
"Where am I? Who are they? What is this place? Who pu-" I cut him off.
"Listen shank you ask a lot of questions." We are alone because everyone got back to work, although I feel safe because I know Newt is at the gardens, not to far away but, he would have to be quick.
"I know a way that you can shut me up." He answers, taking a step closer to me.
"Listen shank, don't you lay a finger on me." I say sternly and take a step back to the point were I was getting worried about how close he was getting.
"Come on babe don't act like that I know you want it." He gets closer to me where I'm on the wall and he is strong enough not to let me get away.
"Let go of me or else." I growl.
"Is the or else that you are going to kiss me." He smirks getting closer until he is only centimeters from my lips.
"Fine have it your way." I do the last thing I can do, I let out a blood curdling scream.
