Chapter 5
“ I hate you! You lied! You moron! I hate you. “
I said while crying my heart out.
I couldn’t believe that this will happen to me. This is a plain bullsh*t.
“ Hey Yannie, listen to me please, listen to me. “
He said pleading. No way. He don’t deserve it. Masyado na akong nasaktan para sa lahat ng ito. All I need to do is to runaway, like what I always do before. Run away and leave all this sh*tty things in my life. So I ran away cause it’s the right thing to do.
I woke up crying. It happened again. I smiled bitterly. I need to take a bath a face all these bullsh*ts in my life.
“ Good morning Nana, what’s for breakfast? “
I kissed her cheeks.
“ Good morning Yana, syempre your favorite breakfast. Hotdogs, bacon at pancakes. “
She smiled widely at me.
Siya na ata ang pinakamasayahing tao na nakilala ko. She just smile with all the problems she’s facing. She’s a tough woman and how I wish I could be just like her.
“ Yana, meron nga pala ulit flowers kanina, yung stuffed toy kahapon nilagay ko na sa may stock room.”
As always andyan na naman ang flowers at kung ano ano pa na nasa harap ng bahay ko.
“ Paltan nyo na lang po Nana yung flowers ko sa room ko. “
“ Okay, ano nga pala oras ng uwe mo mamaya? Alas tres ako aalis, at baka abutin ako ng dalawang linggo. Sigurado ka bang hindi na ako hahanap ng pansamantalang kasama mo dito sa bahay? “
“ No po Nana hindi na kelangan, two weeks lang naman di ba? And ihahatid ko po kayo mamaya, intayin nyo po ako ha? And ikamusta nyo po ako sa anak nyo ha, Nana. “
“ Sige, sige, mag iingat ka dito ha. Ngayon pa lang nag aalala na ako sayo. Ingatan mo sarili mo ha at kakain ka sa tamang oras. Wag ka din masyadong magba bar walang mag iintindi sayo dito. “
“ Nana naman eh, parang hindi na kayo babalik nyan. 2 weeks lang naman di ba? “
“ Oo pero… “
“ No buts Nana I can make it. “
I smiled assuring her, how I wish she’s my mother.
“ Basta mag iingat ka ha. “
“ Syempre naman, kayo talaga Nana, pwede ko na kayong drama instructor. Ang aga aga nag papaiyak kayo. “
“ Ikaw talaga. Sige na bilisan mo na. Baka puntahan ka na naman nung Manager mo dito. “
“ I love you Nana. “
I hugged her.
“ Finally, you’re here Ayana. It’s already 11 and I thought hindi ka na naman pupunta. “’
My manager said approaching me. I am just 2 hours late. What’s wrong with that?
“ Yeah, I need to be out by two o’clock “
“ But you’re rehearsals for today is up to four o’clock. “
“ I’ll be out for two o’clock or I’m going to walk out of this room and cut all my rehearsals for a month? Take it or leave it. “
I said calmly at my manager. And seriously his face is like a volcano waiting for a signal to erupt.
“ Okay fine. Kakausapin ko na lang yung producer. You’re impossible Ayana. “
“ I’ll take that as a compliment. “
I smile and wink at him.
“ Okay we need to start. “
“Can I revise some parts of the music? I just don’t find it very amusing to hear.“
I said while trying to tune the song with the music.
“ You arrived two hours late and you will come here and ask if you could revise that song, are you out of your mind? “
Of course sino pa bang magsasabi sa kin nyan eh di itong katabi kong wala nang ibang ginawa kung hindi pakialaman ako. I just ignore her.
“ Mr. producer? Can I? “
“ Yeah of course, just tell me what part of the music you want to change?“
“ And can I suggest please to just take away the back-up singers. It’s better siguro kung yung voice na lang namin. “
I suggested. And of course I know that Lorraine will protest because she can’t take it without the supporting voice.
“ No you can’t do that Ayana! “
She said nearly freaking out.
“ Of course I can. Right Mr. Producer? “
“ Well I find your suggestion great since you are both a great singer, so let’s start now. “
It is already 1:45 and this is not getting along well because of this desperate singer beside me. I think this is better kung ako na lang ang kakanta. I put my headset down.
“ Can we continue this tomorrow? I need to be out by two. “
“ And you’re going out two hours early? How professional dear. “
She said sarcastically.
“ Well aside from meeting an important person, I think you need to sing and rehearse this song alone cause your voice pollutes my ear. And just a piece of advice, wag mo masyado ilapit yung bibig mo sa mic. Aside from making your voice sound worst, you also look like a dinosaur with headphone swallowing a microphone. And wear some shades sometimes so that you’ll look very great and I’ll name you as a “fashionistang dinosaur”. Is that great?
She’s about to hit me when I turn my back.
“ Wag ka naman masyadong pasikat, sige ka baka mamaya kunin ka ng mga staffs ng perya at baka dun pa matupad ang matagal mo ng pinapangarap na stardom. Bye everyone, have a great day ahead! “
I wave my hand and saw the staffs trying to impede their laughter. I guess I made another scene here. Serves her right.
“ If I were you guys I’ll not try to hold up my laughter. Farting here is the last thing you should do guys. “
They suddenly burst out laughing. And the last thing I heard is her powerful voice shouting at everyone.
