Twenty three

Chloe sighed as she settled dolly down for a nap. Chloe knew that she was finding it hard to be a mum to dolly but she knew that she loved dolly and how she did want to make it work. 

Chloe sighed as she lay on the sofa and groaned as she heard a knock at the door, she answered it and smiled as she saw Lexi

"did I wake you. Sorry" Lexi said as Chloe smiled

"no, I just got dolly down. What are you doing here" Chloe asked as Lexi looked to her and smiled

"I wanted to see how you both were I know that things have been hard for you and I wanted to make sure that you were okay" Lexi said as Chloe smiled

"we're good I mean it isn't easy but I am taking it one day at a time and she is my little baby I mean I made her. I actually made her and she is just perfect" Chloe said as she looked to dolly as she slept away

"your a great mum. Has fletch been around" Lexi asked

"a few times. I have no idea what is going on with us but I want to make it work so much but i am scared that he is just going to disappear I just need to focus on her right now and if he does I guess that's how it is" Chloe said as Lexi smiled

"it will be okay"

Chloe sighed as she walked out of the bathroom and smiled as she saw dolly who was sitting with Lexi

"someone is here. I didn't know what to do" Lexi said as she saw fletch as he stood in the doorway. She looked to him and sighed as she ran a hand through her hair

"what are you doing here Adrian" Chloe asked "please chlo I want to talk to you. I love you and I want to fix it with us if I can" he said as she sighed

"Lex can you talk dolly for a walk please" chloe asked as Lexi looked to her and smiled

"of course" Lexi said as Chloe picked up dolly and smiled as she placed her in her push chair and smiled as she kissed her head, she looked as Lexi walked off with her and looked to fletch

"what do you want" Chloe asked

"to see my daughter, to see you. Look I said I wasn't going to let you down and I am not but she is my daughter and I do want to make it work. I want to make us work as I miss us" he said

"we broke up or so I gathered. You weren't at her birth and you have barely seen her it's been there weeks fletch, dolly needs you and I can do this alone but she needs her dad and I just don't trust you not to break my heart" Chloe said as he nodded

"I'll make it up to you" fletch said as Chloe sighed not knowing what to think

Chloe looked to dolly as she sat feeding her, Chloe knew without fletch she wouldn't have her little girl but she knew it was a mess and she knew that she loved him still but he had let her down and he had left dolly down and she didn't want her little girl to be hurt.

She wanted it to be okay and she wanted to make it work but it was hard and she didn't know what to do but could Chloe find a way to make it work and forgive him?
